GOENCHIM NOKETRAM- the internationally acclaimed Goan Folk and Musical troupe brings out the video of their second song titled PIKI-PIKI KAZULE from their album "Goa-Tuzo Mog Mhaka". This song is in konkani, and has a reggae rhythm, bringing about a confluence of Goa and Caribbean Islands , where Goenchim Noketram were privileged to have been invited to perform in the year 2011. The Lyrics/video of this song speak about the FIREFLY and is an attempt to bring about an awareness of this endangered species. As always, GOENCHIM NOKETRAM are aimed at Preserving, Promoting and Protecting our heritage..... this time , its the FIREFLY....
We do hope our small beginning will go a long way to SAVE THE FIREFLY...
