Nice, but we are not really reversing a number (I'm not sure what that would mean); rather we are reversing the decimal representation of a number. This could thus also be interpreted as, fundamentally, a string operation. So, from that perspective, how I'd be inclined to do it would be as: def reverse_digits(num): return int(str(num)[::-1]) The useful question then would be whether the derivations of digits happening in the mathier while loop logic shown in the video are more efficient than the two explicit type conversions (integer to string and back) in my code snippet. We could try to figure out step by step how Python would do this and reason it out with some examples; or we could use an empirical approach using the timeit library. When I used timeit, a function based on the code shown on this video is, surprisingly, slower than the string manipulation method despite the two number conversions. The difference is not spectacular but it can be multiples. The approach shown in the video is less efficient. P.S. I almost wrote it backwards because I failed to notice that I had swapped my function names in my testing by mistake.
