Route 113 and 10 are the highest tier route themes in the entire series

Route 113 will always be the best for me. It's just so beautiful and harmonic, and it holds so many good memories. Route 209, 104 and 111 come close too though, for the same reasons. Huh now that I think about it any R/S/E song for me is amazing because of those reasons 😅

I have two older half-siblings. They are 7 & 8 years older than I am, I’m 27. When I was a kid, about 6-7 years old they became bored of the Game Boy & Pokemon & I kind of inherited it in a way. I remember at that time I had a bunk-bed with the sofa-bed style thing on the bottom in my bedroom & I would use the top bunk. My Mum would send me to bed & like 10-15 minutes later she’d come & check on me & turn the light off etc. She’d know that I’d have taken the GB upstairs & play it in that mean-time. When I’d hear her cresting the stairs & coming to my room I’d turn the volume slider down & shove it under my pillow. I remember a couple times it caught my pillowcase & turned up a little & she heard it & took it away. After that it was like a game we’d play where she would get mega close & listen for it. Looking back she should have just taken it because she obviously always knew it was there. I’ll make sure my kids know bed-time is bed-time, no technology. Good times though, the music was the true beauty of these games.

You forgot the true most important sound in all of pokemon, the sound when you catch a pokemon.
