Hello, can you find a work of art where I work in the same field
if the tile is fairly durable for its size, why the doubling of the adhesive!? especially on straight flat walls.
It’s a standard procedure to apply adhesive on both surfaces for good bonding and has nothing to with actual tile durability.
@@rivercontracts your statement is that applying adhesive to one surface only will not make "good" bond?

@@rivercontracts interesting. I've been using the non-"standard procedure" for past 18 years and NEVER had a bond that wasn't "good". I will also agree to disagree with you in your statement, unless of course, your statement is conditional. In that case it does not answer my question.
Haris Diz this method is mainly for large format tiles as adhesive on both surfaces make the job much easier when levelling due to shear size and also bonding to the surface.
