      I'm sorry to hear that. The good news is that many insurance companies are covering this therapy now, but it depends on your specific policy. Also, depending on what your condition is there are many other therapies that may help. Usually, we would do a comprehensive evaluation with you first to determine which therapy or therapies would be most effective. If you are local to our clinic and want to give us a call, we can verify all of your insurance benefits as a courtesy.

    Great video but you did not explain the very last item on the scan sheet, the IMPEDANCE what does it mean...?

    • @hansenhealthsolutions8838
      @hansenhealthsolutions8838 2 роки тому

      Great question! Impedance is the amount of resistance that the scan encounters as it moves through the body. Different body tissues will have different levels of impedance, and the amount of impedance is a big part of how the scan is able to determine your composition. - Dr Hansen

    how can i get the original HRV map and use it for further analysis in scientific research?

    • @hansenhealthsolutions8838
      @hansenhealthsolutions8838 5 років тому

      I'm not sure what you mean by "Original HRV Map" but usually you will just start taking HRV readings and simply build up a large pool of n=1 data to compare future readings to. If you are wanting to get very scientific about it, I would consider logging all your readings in a spreadsheet and labeling each read with some things like your stress level, how well you slept, any nutritional/exercise changes, etc. That way when you reference, you have something to go off of. Good luck! - Dr Hansen

    What is the unit of the HRV measure? RMS-SD or something else? Also, what is a good HRV score in your opinion?

    • @hansenhealthsolutions8838
      @hansenhealthsolutions8838 5 років тому

      This app in particular measures a number of things, and then spits out a general score for you. You can monitor all the numbers if you are really wanting to nerd-out with it (which is great), but for most people you can just let the app worry about all that. As far as a "Good" HRV score, it really just depends. I'd suggest you look at it more as feedback and something to give you a better understanding of where you are at in that moment. Use it as another piece of information to help you manage your health. For example, if the number shows a very low variability that may suggest overtraining. You could not only act accordingly, but also consider what you did the last few days/week to end up in that position. Or, maybe that training was intentional and you would expect the number to be where it is. Just focus on understanding what it means, the implications, and how you can change your approach based off that info.....rather than trying to get to a specific number. Hope that helps!

  • @jonathanrogers1346

    This beat that you're talking about is it kind of like when taking a digital blood pressure reading and you see the beat counting down sometimes I've seen it countdown rapid and then other times I've seen it count down very slow. And sometimes my heart rate isn't even that fast or that slow.

    • @hansenhealthsolutions8838
      @hansenhealthsolutions8838 6 років тому

      I'm not 100% sure i'm understanding your question, so feel free to clarify and i'm happy to follow up. HRV is similar to heart rate, blood pressure, etc, in that if you are monitoring over a period of time you can watch it change, but these do not all directly follow each other. Meaning, just because your heart rate lowers does not mean that your HRV will improve.

      @mobidoctoreu 6 років тому

      Nah, I cant be very accurate. I just found this video since I bought this maschine for home use and found the numbers to be abit off. And seems true when I look at your numbers. You cant have 140 lbs muscles when you weigh 157 lbs. musclemass is normally 45% of total bodyweight. also, 5% BF is what compeating bodybuilders have on stage, so that also seems abit off

    • @mobidoctoreu
