Hey I don't want to be on my couch I want to be ON YOUR BOAT SMITEN fishing. Not someone else's boat your boat . Maybe next year when you have time I'll come up to Minnesota and stay in a motel and me and you can do some Minnesota fishing. Ps it's always a pleasure listening and watching your channel and getting tips on fishing in Minnesota.
@@michaelloucks4448 absolutely. Thanks brother!

Just kidding bro bud that is so awesome that you're catching these monster smallmouth lately bro these smallmouth you been showing me they look like a football they are so so wide . Bro is it true that the food has to be there for the smallmouth to be there, cause I'm almost 60 yrs old and I can tell you have alot of smallmouth knowledge, it's a pleasure listening to you you young angler's are so bright and intelligent. See that you're teaching a 59 yr old guy what to look for and to become a better smallie angler's. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos because by no means am I a pro angler . Thanks for sharing your technique and knowledge of your work on the water. What water temperature are you fishing in winter. I’m in Colorado and yes we have some bass lakes that don’t freeze (not many) lol. Water temps are usually in the 30s on these lakes. Smallies, spots and largemouth. Any thoughts?
@@coloradoelkhunter7367 I could give you a long drawn out response, but I did actually just post a video going over some good tips and my approach at both smallmouth and largemouth. It should be the most recent full length video I’ve uploaded.
@ Thanks, I just ran across your channel today. Didn’t know what state you’re in as say Florida winter fishing is different from northern states. Just trying to make an adjustment on simple water temperature differences for my speed of retrieve. ✌️
@ it is very very different. But, bass have some general patterns and practices that I really tried to key in on for everyone
@@ImSmittenFishing yeah maybe I’m not clear. Just asking what water temperature range of winter fishing are you yourself fishing?
@ oh I’m sorry man, I guess I didn’t read your comment correct. But usually I’m fishing warmer bays holding at about 34-36°

Hey ISF man bro you catch some beautiful smallies. Hey when I move to Minnesota you can take me on a guide trip you'll put me on the fish . I know Wisconsin and Michigan are really good smallie States. Anyway I will definitely look you up for a trip to smallmouth heaven.

Hey ISF nice smallmouth bro that's why I'm moveing to Minnesota. I'm almost 60 yrs old and I can't wait to get up there and start fishing. I never judge people it's not easy getting those smallies to bite sometimes. I'll never forget what mark zona told me. If the bait fish aren't there the smallies aren't there. They follow the bait. Be safe out there and God bless you and your family your pal fisherman Mike from Missouri. I have a question for you do those smallies hit buzzbait s up there because that's a good bait for fall time.
@@michaelloucks4448 buzzbaits would really be more of a shallow thing, they follow the tulibee around a lot on Mille Lacs so you really need to be dialed in on the bait this time of year. Paddle tails seem to work better
@ImSmittenFishing yea that makes sense.
