AMD Kria KD240 Motor + ML Demo for Predictive Maintenance
This is a Machine Learning demo on Motor data captured from Kria KD240 motor drives kit. We are using BLDC motor interfaced with Kria KD240 drives kit, acquire motor data as torque, phase, current , voltage etc we analyze those parameters and determine the normal behavior and abnormal or anomaly of motor.
This demo is one of generic demo while we are developing more sophisticated AI enabled solution for industrial applications with AC/DC motors to help customer for predictive maintenance which help to plan a maintenance timeline more precisely to save maintenance cost.
LogicTronix is AMD Kria partner for AI/ML and offers design services, IP cores, edge AI solutions and automation solutions for industrial and commercial customers.

    how to capture image and save them using pcam with zedboard for image classification

      While using Petalinux you can use yavta and v4l2 for capturing images and saving those. On Baremetal/standalone, you can write application to save frame into BMP (or RAW format) and later you can convert it to JPEG or encoded one using encoding logic or application.

      Hello Keval, it MSI 4K display monitor. It supports DP, HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4 interfaces. Our monitor model is not available on many countries, any 4K monitor must work for this Kria KV260 demo. Else you can also check Kria Application page for compatible monitor.

      When I run the application I got some error:mixer device is not ready. Make sure that the HW accelerated firmware is loaded via app. How to resolve the error? How to configure rtsp in kria kv260? Any help will be appreciated

    Is it possible to remove this Auto detecteion ROI for human, and replaced it with Auto detection on Manufacturing object, like finding the cylinder of an engine block, and pointing the defect

      Oldskool978, now everything jump towards Vitis flow (vivado flow wrapped inside it). Yes, as you mentioned there could be more and more open source support as Xilinx now part of AMD.

    How did you get your demo to work? When I start the defect-detect program, I get this error message: failed to find mode "3840x2160" for connector 52 failed to create dumb buffer: Invalid argument Error: GStreamer error: negotiation problem I have a Logitech Brio USB camera and I have the AR1330 camera that comes with the board. I loaded the program with the commands from the Xilinx web page: sudo defect-detect (to use the camera). What did you do to get yours to work?

      Hello Frank, thanks for your comment and interest! This demo works on GRAY format or Monochrome format of input. While using Logitec Brio or AR1335 or color IAS sensor you have to convert the the input stream into monochrome or Gray either using Gst-pipeline. You can use "Zedboard HDMI IP" from the reference design which is available at Zedboard.org: Zedboard HDMI Display Controller Tutorial [zedboard.org/support/design/1521/11] for Vivado using Xilinx VIPP.
