Has that flat sound/plasticky sound on the low end with similarly sounding high end and it sounds as though the bass has zero punch in the mids (what you usually get from cheap basses that aren't on pedals), could be just the eq of your amp not giving this bass justice but it sounds that you get almost exactly what you pay for out of a chinese bass guitar. unlike yamaha's , where cheap doesn't mean cheap-sounding too. Nice effort defretting the bass, would have been great to hear something else being played apart from that blues standard because the bass just doesn't seem to be given a chance to shine. Are harmonics any good?

This is what I like about this song..... you don't have to necessarily sing it real high like Plant does! As long as you sing it with enough "soul" , with a bluesy sound.... it still sounds almost as great! Sounded really good man, like the way you sang it at the beginning!
