Lyrics below! This is a Hungarian folk song from Transylvania, Romania - we are ethnic Hungarians living on the territory of the Old Hungary. It is sung indeed by Márta Sebestyén, one of the most famous Hungarian folk singers. What's really interesting about this song, that it's about a WOMAN in prison, actually a monologue of a daughter sentenced to prison. The lyrics goes like this: S rám is nyomtak egy pár évet, (I was sentenced to prison for a couple of years) szabadulnék, de nem lehet. (I would like to be released, but that's not possible) S írtam haza az anyámnak, (wrote a letter to my mother back home) küldjön párnát rab lányának. (to send a pillow to her prisoner daughter) S hogyha meg találok halni, (If I happen to die) minden ruhám rám kell adni. (dress me up with all my clothes) S koporsóm se legyen másból, (my coffin should be made of) fejér orgonavirágból! (nothing but white lilac flowers) Elsirat az édesanyám, (my mother is going to mourn over me) aki gondot viselt reám. (she who has been taking care of me) The French band who made this art of work happen by combining traditional sounds with electronic music...wow. amazing

**Possible Spoiler** Is Santa supposed to be Phaeton? The son of the god Helios? Or Hélios, himself? He speaks of “stealing the horizon” and being born of fire. As Phaeton took the chariot of Helios used to pull the sun across the horizon, but being a mere mortal born of a mortal woman, he wrecked the chariot... Was it this wreckless act that led him to be made to pull his sled for eternity in night of winter solstice? Or, is he another child of a God? The three gifts - they’re the gifts of the Magi, aren’t they? The three wise men who visited Jesus Christ on the night of his birth. I just realized! This is brilliant! The voice acting is en pointe!
