    In the USA the laws are outdated regarding seals protection. There are over 30 millions seals here and overpopulated. We should be able to harvest them.

    As a hunter myself i think it is awesome that are able to harvest these beautiful animals to feed their villages and families. Just wish they were a little more safe with their guns. Racing around in boats with loaded guns pointing around at each other.

    The privilege in this comment section is off the charts. People who are spiritually connected to the land, engaging in harvest methods, and ensuring that their people can live in harmony with the food sources they have used for generations is not as sad as the factory farming that kills millions of animals a year to provide the caloric intake of most Americans.

    Why doesn't the village build a large boat trailer to slide under the whale so that you can roll the carcass up on shore to carve it up, it would be so much easier and safer.

      Because they arent supported by major cooperations or anything of the such these are individuals using what they own them selves ie:you purchase a car because it helps you travel around the city they purchase boats and canoes because they are by the ocean.
