Great video. After decades of going on Royal Caribbean cruises exclusively, my wife and I did our first Celebrity cruise in May on the Beyond. Loved it. We are booked again in January on the Ascent. I always wondered about the comparison to the older class ships. You helped answer some questions. Maybe it is time to give one of those ships a shot. Thanks for sharing your experience! The title of this video is “…not what we expected (our honest opinion) but I missed the part of the video where you gave your opinion and explained what surprised you (or what didn’t meet your expectations). Glad you liked the Beyond!! This so far has been my favorite ship!! My first was the Equinox….it was a great experience …..but like you said…..the Beyond was Beyond my expectations! I am older……& i was told that this was the cruise for “old folks!” …..or that it was wheel chair city! Yes there was a lot of the older crowd…..but i was having fun! We had a regular balcony room…..which i enjoyed……as far as the food…..I LOVED the ocean view cafe!! The food in the buffet was so good! I would have eaten there every day, but my partner loved the dining rooms! I also loved the fact that the gym was open 24hours! Yes, i was there every day! The solarium was also a favorite spots……this ship has a chill vibe…..& there were not a lot kids….so that made it more enjoyable for the adults….. the shows were entertaining……but for me, the royal Caribbean group has the best cruise entertainment (yes celebrity is part of that group!). I hope to try the celebrity Ascent later in the year… great VLOG…..& thank you !
