OH! MY!! SOUL!!! This Journal is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! I'm currently Your Newest Subscriber! I was looking around Etsy to see if I could find a Very Special Gift for My Amazing Daughter. She is OBSESSED with Sunflowers! I'm SO SUPER PROUD of The Beautiful Young Woman She's become & I'm ESPECIALLY EXCITED because after being apart from each other for more than Six Months; She made a Very Tough Choice to drive the Three Hours by herself so she could show up here for 'A Surprise Visit!' Things have been Extremely Difficult for her ever since I left back in March; So she decided to leave most of her material possessions behind & permanently move-in here, with me! I'm BEYOND PROUD of her because I KNOW how Difficult of a Decision it was for her! She just turned 23 on September 11th & unfortunately I didn't get to see her for her Birthday, But Now I get to see Her EVERYDAY!!! She's only been here for Three Days & she's already gotten her bedroom all set-up & decorated with whatever she could find. I actually Comissioned an Artist to create a Very Personalized Journal for her 21st-Birthday! Even back then she Loved Sunflowers, So That was basically the Main Theme of The Journal. I would love to be able to find another Journal for her! One She can use as she Starts Anew & Begins A Brand New Journey, in A Brand New Place! ... I DEFINITELY hope to be able to snag one of Your "Sunflower Vintage Travel Junk Journals" for her; As I Know She'll fall *IN-LOVE* with The Gorgeous & Vibrant Cover! ...BUT THEN I SAW *THIS MASTERPIECE* & was basically *BLOWN-AWAY!!!* WOW! This is TRULY STUNNING & I KNOW My Daughter would CHERISH IT! I really don't think there's another Sunflower Journal out there that's Compliment the Journal I had Custom-Made when she turned 21! (I love creating Junk Journals, but mine are NEVER THIS BEAUTIFUL!!!) Well... I'm certainly in no position to purchase anything that isn't ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, but I will definitely start saving-up & with a little Luck; This Beauty will still be available when I'm able to buy Her! ...MEANWHILE... I'll be Binge-Watching Your UA-cam Channel! I have a feeling our Crafting Styles are quite similar & I'm excited to go see what other Fabulous Creations you've shared on UA-cam!!! What are you using that is like the pen with water in it that you seem to be using to cut/tear the napkin at the end. I noticed it when you were doing the bottom of the jars to cut off the excess??

So pretty

I make my vintage tape with Alcohol inks and I use clear tape. And after I get it done, I cut them in half lengthwise because back in the day, and I remember because of being born in the 50's we didn't have thick tape. It was always half size. I have never even thought to make these with Distress Inks. Thanx I will have to try that next.

Your journal is gorgeous! I am also doing the Junk Journal July challenge. I love the older ones you showed as well. I like how you made your accordion pages and decorated some of them with the vintage pages. The washi tape was a great compliment to the pages! I can't wait to see what you make for each prompt. New subbie here.
