I ended up moving to Leeds from the US for Uni (LBU) around the same time as you in 2020 but in October. Those lockdowns were crazy but the following spring/summer were legendary, especially in Hyde Park. Great times indeed.

Such a beatiful and (probably young) girl sleeping alone? No husband, no kids? Is this normal in US? -- it is acceptable for ex-military personnel but consider that they don't last usually much. I am an exception but... always the BUT... . As a matter of fact I am going for an airplene-pilot licence which I consider fantastic, but loneliness can kill even the hardest military-item.

As the biggest centre outside London for banking and legal services Leeds is the wealthiest city in the north of England with upmarket shops, restaurants and cafes. The university has a very attractive and safe campus 10 minutes walk from the busy city centre with its attractive blend of Victorian and Neo Classical as well as glass and steel commercial buildings. In and around the campus itself there is some lovely architecture and a buzzing social scene. Of the UK's 120 universities Leeds falls consistently within the top three for the number of applicants. With an impressive international standing for the quality of its research and a first rate social scene Leeds will always be a serious choice for a great many academically gifted undergraduates and postgraduates. It is the 51st most international university in the world.

Loved the tour and how you decorated the flat. I have no idea what blue stain is in the bath - it wasn't there when I lived in. Also, the TV was working, no mould in the bedroom, the window in the bedroom was not broken...and I used the same fav chair while eating! xxx
