I think you should definitely try The Great Gatsby in Danish, you’ll pick up on the nuance in Fitzgerald’s writing and enjoy it a lot more! (It’s one of my favs so I push it on everyone 🤣🤣🤣) I also loved My Best Friend’s Exorcism need to pick up more from Hendrix! And Beartown is on the TBR, I have the whole trilogy! Can’t wait to read!

YES one of my biggest realizations was that I really needed to DNF books more. congrats on dnf-ing the ones that didn't interest you. I really enjoyed this is how you lose the time war but I can completely understand why people wouldn't like it haha. I enjoyed divine rivals too, I also thought it was better than the second. I am hoping to read the secret history in the new year it sounds so interesting! and omg I just started listening to the raven boys and am enjoying it so far so I hope it stays good :) I was also pleasantly surprised by the 7 husbands of evelyn hugo, and the throne of glass series is one of my favourites. I really need to read beartown, I am glad you had so many good reads this year and hope you have an amazing new year! ❤

I have the same issue with picking up JK Rowling 😢 I did purchase the illustrated editions (secondhand which made me feel better) - I want to read it to my kiddos too and I figured it’s themes of acceptance, friendship, and bravery will x out the authors real life transphobia ramblings

I really loved Queen of the Tearling but, I couldn’t finish the second book because I didn’t like the parts in our time and our world. Definitely want to try The Surviving Trace.

I am glad you are enjoying throne of glass though, one of my favourite series as well 😊
