Fishing isn't just a hobby for me. It's a passion... a force of nature that draws one to try their luck to harvest a bounty from the waters. From deep seas to rivers and streams, together, we will test our skill, fortitude, determination, gear and sometimes even grit to land "the big ones". We won't always get bites; we won't always hook up; we won't always land the prize; we won't always keep what we catch. But if you don't have lines in the water, you're guaranteed not to catch. So let's go get some lines in the water!

While diving in the chilling waters of Monterey, CA with my buddy, @JeffLong1 , & @seawolf1330 , I spotted this beauty on the sea floor. My buddy swam right over it, so it's mine!

Why use a pole spear at that point?
How do you mean? I prefer a pole spear because it's less moving parts and frankly more efficient than a speargun.

Wow first take first try on the sand crab! Lol the bale snapping shut has caused me to lose more than a few rigs and crab snares 😭 at least it was only a sand crab this time! Let's get those lines in the water again soon!
