[Ben screaming a line] I'm not so, so puncturing and cynical [Ben screaming a line] Side effects risk severing umbilical [Ben screaming a line] Interrupt by every individual [Ben screaming a line] Homesick wish list, pathogenic populace You're dead weight, some say, guess that's what you make of it But I've got brass fists, think I found a catalyst But there's no perfect, it's all hit and miss Don't try to disinfect my personality I like my edges rough, I like offending Maybe I'm full of shit or full of envy Maybe I'm growing up, I guess we'll just wait and see One day you'll stare at me but not judgmentally An antiseptic sound is just what bores me I'll show you just how difficult I can be But my opinion might be the enemy [Ben screams stuff] I'm so surrounded by this urban pharmacy It gets the best of you, it got the best of me It always piles up when I thought I was done I feel like Hunter S, I just don't have a gun One day you'll stare at me but not judgmentally An antiseptic sound is just what bores me I'll show you just how difficult I can be But my opinion might be the enemy
Its hard to find info for this song. Its not on any album, and its only featured on the Masters Of Horror soundtrack. I also believe this was the last song Ben Perri ever recorded vocals for. I may be wrong about that. The Masters Of Horror soundtrack was released the same year as Bens final album with the band, Abandon Your Friends in 2005. Whether or not this song was recorded in the studio along with that album is something i dont know. The production in this song is extremly similar to the album. More so than any previous album. So it may have been recorded right before Abandon Your Friends, during the studio time for that album, or right after the album was completed.
J Nicolosi It was recorded and intended for "Abandon Your Friends" but for some reason not included on the album. That's about the extent of my knowledge!
+Ryan Starbloak thanks! thats what i thought. the production sounds identical to what was on Abandon Your Friends, so it shouldve been obvious to me. But the lack of info on the interwebs always left me with unanswered questions.
I need the digital copy, its nostalgic coming back from time to time 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼🔥the freaking memories!
I still want to know where this song is from? Also I have been searching relentlessly for the last few years for the actual lyrics to this.
When uneducated people claim it's just screaming

It's 2020 middle of this pandemic, and this song still goes hard af!!!!!!
