Very cool video! Equipment is from 2nd Brigade; 5th Infantry Division (Mechanized) from Fort Polk, LA. In particular equipment from DIVARTY 5-1st Field Artillery Regiment; 3-70th Armor Regiment; 3-6th Infantry Regiment; 705th Support Battalion; 45th Chemical Company; Headquarters, 5th Infantry Division & 3-5th Aviation Regiment (Assault) Aviation Brigade. 5th Infantry Division was inactivated on November 24, 1992 and reflagged as the 2nd Armored Division. While the 5th I.D. was alerted for service to Operation Desert Shield. Many problems arose with the rounding out 3rd Brigade of the LA ANG. This led to the cancelation of a division wide training rotation @ Ft Irwin, CA & subsequently 5th I.D. not deploying. By the end of March 1991 all units from 5th I.D. had returned to fort Polk, LA. By the end of the year 256th Brigade completed demobilization. This is a wild ass guess but most likely these are assets being taken to Sierra Army Depot @ Herlong, CA for long term storage.
