This song is called “let…me…go” and it was probably one of the fastest songs I’ve ever written. To me, that’s always a really good sign because it usually means that I really needed to express something that had been stuck inside me for a while. I didn’t think of a particular person while writing this, but more of that reoccurring feeling when relationships end and it feels like somehow neither person has let go, and because it’s so hard to let go yourself, you expect the other person to let go for you. Here are the lyrics:

for my art foundation FMP I explored nature based therapy as a way of treating PTSD. the repetition in the natural dying and the weaving interested me. I wanted to explore how that repetition could get me into a state of mindfulness and meditation where I could feel safe in the present and escape any part trauma.
