My son was in and out of Detroit yesterday afternoon. What time were you there?

Not as busy as it once was, but the controllers there do a great job. Not so much the tower but the Approach control is a well-oiled machine!

Holy hell, has anyone in this backwater ever read the Flag Code?? Letting the flag touch the ground calls for that flag to be destroyed by fire. Same for every bugwit that I saw at the show wearing flag themed clothing. Disgusting as they desecrate the flag , putting their junk sweat all over the symbol of our nation. Disgusting.

My son found out today his transfer was approved to MSP where he lives. He will begin training on the Airbus A319, A320, and A321 in September so he will only be flying the 717 for another couple months.

My dad works at Selfridge and on Friday. There was a family day. We got to see the airshow and I got to set up right next to the runway. We saw the Thunderbirds the F1 the P 51 Mustang the Migs and the A-10s and the KC-135 and I saw all the statics displays and the Thunderbirds were so cool. They were amazing. I have a video I’m gonna post on it if you’d like to take a look at that but happy spotting.
