Pegaso engined rs 125 dyno setup
Bigger carbs, bespoke exhaust and a light gas flow got this engine to 48.9 hp at the back wheel.

Here's a quick clip of my pegaso engined rs 125 being run up on PDQ's dyno with a new homemade exhaust. Final result was 47.92 hp at the wheels , up from 41. Not bad but Noisy!

This is the first start of rs 125 with a pegaso 650 engine shoe horned in... bit noisy as no exhaust yet, but I'm not that patient !
What pod filter are you using?
nice project , what engine did you used ? and what was the biggest dificulty on instaling ? after the sound i can recognize s single cylinder , does it vibrate hard ?
What carbs did you use for the build?
Bst 36's from a triumph speed triple, they swap straight over onto the standard bst 33 brackets and linkages. Not really worth the swap on current mods, only worth about 1hp!
Very nice so far, do not see a link to read more through this site. Would love to build pics since I have both bikes as "Junkers" at my shop anyway and have been pondering just such a conversion.
I wont say it was as straight forward as most people seem to think, involved modding frame and welding. I did have a complete thread on a forum called tjtuning showing exactly what I did, but the forum seems to be broken so all that info has gone now.. :-( I have a load of photos on photobucket that you might want to look at, have a search for rs 650
This is awesome! i'm looking at doing this with my RS125, getting a 650 Pegaso engine, what else did you have to do? thanks
sweet,have you ridden it yet?
