like being part of a huge family , it was special to work there , till we had 1000 jobs cut and my 8th redundancy ! all went a bit sour after that , Our office was behind the big glass front you see driving past towards Mach , , overlooking a big field with a horse and sheep in , before they built the house , going back almost 40 years . sad .

Wow where those new houses by this last bus stop at the bottom of Trehafren I use to play football on that bit of waste ground as I use to live in the 3 story house which the path goes the back of on Lon Gwern as I lived at no131, I swapped with my late father he moved in to that house while I moved in to his in Runcorn, and the last I heard my half sister was living in that house

New subscriber, l am shocked at the change in Newtown, l have agoraphobia so havent been to town in a long time.lts becoming like a ghost town.Its now August 2024 and the post office survived but l am sure more shops are gone.l remember Newtown in tbe 80's it was thriving now it seems to be slowly dying.Thanks for the video and the walk round.

There are now 4 foreign barber shops in Newtown Powys and there is big suspicion the shops are all to do with illegal immigrants and money laundering it's all over the internet

Been a few years since I stood on Welshpool station platform. Sad to see the oddness of the place now...........run down but not run down. I remember it as tatty, even when I was a kid but trains....proper ones with a Standard 4 or even a Manor, made it live. Trips to Shrewsbury with my uncle.....and departures to parts foreign with family (Dad was Air Force). And always, always bleepin' cold! Thanks for the upload 👍

Don't like these new LED lamp-posts though & people claim that these lamp-posts are part of a 5g directed energy system, that could connect us all to an interent of things, .. The LED lights are not very eco to make & dispose of, other than they are not supposed to use too much electricity & the LED's are a very harsh & bright light frequency, .. than can affect peoples sleep, concentration & eyesight, .. including that of drivers, ..?

It seems to be taking a long time, it's now May and the builder chap said it'd be done in January, the bridge still hasn't been moved into place. I think it's worth the money personally, it dramatically shortens the walk to the cricket if you live on Canal road; although, I'm sure it's now overbudget given the timelines have been extended by at least 6 months.
