WELCOME TO SICILY!
We went on a sister trip to Taormina, Sicily earlier this month and we absolutely loved it. It is such a nice place to visit. There is so much history, music and good food. We went to the ancient greek theater, to the White Lotus hotel, Isola Bella and much more. We even went on a day trip to hike on Mount Etna, the biggest and most active volcano in Europe. Italy is always a good idea. Highly recommend Sicily!

what made you want to visit this particular town of all the towns in italy? and how many are there to choose from that are as fancy as this?
Italy has a lot of cute towns like this, but if you are just planning on visiting Sicily, that narrows it down. I chose Taormina because it looked really nice and I wanted to be close to Mount Etna to be able to do a day there too.

Hi Mille, Sorry that this is not relevant to this video I just had a quick question about your time volunteering in port Douglas. I was looking at the programme, and loved that you went on day trips as I think its important to have that balance. I do not drink, do you think I would still be able to fit in on the programme (especially any personal excursions) if I don't drink. I am also 18, 19 this summer. Thank you! Sorry again for commenting here.
I don't drink myself either. Of course you can fit in anyway. Drinking alcohol is not the focus of volunteering. None of my day trips involved drinking either. As long as you can be social with other people, you can fit in anywhere. Have fun!

Yes, you pay a fee that includes housing, meals when you're working, a donation and so on. It depends on the organization in your home country.

The qualifications depend on which country/organisation you're going with. My qualifications were a certain age and that you're able to do hard physical work. But you should check with the organisation in your country.

Everything was very empty, no tourists at all. It was actually not as scary as I thought. Everyone respected the distance you had to keep from people. The only annoying thing was the masks all the way from Copenhagen to Helsinki... :)
