My Dad had surgery last week and we're dealing with a c1 to t2 fusion and he has bilateral c5 palsy occurring. There may be other palsys as well bc he pretty weak with his legs and entire body tbh. Essentially, he's paralyzed for the time being. Please keep him in prayers and thanks for all of your ongoing work
Dr. Ma, a really great surgeon, and a life-force in helping the patient to become active and pain free again. An anusually great contributor to the vast field of medicine. I am so glad to be one of his patients, and I owe he and all the folks at UCSF a kind word of gratitude. Thank you for being there. RANDY BURKE

Can we REGENERATE 🤪
She is in a hurry.
Wonderful presentation , much informative for beginners like me 🎉 thank you .
Can you vultures not demonetize these videos to remove ads so the maimed among us looking for answers don’t have to watch a fucking Star Trek mobile game ad while our limp dead limbs hang next to us. Believe me I’d prefer to get my medical “knowledge” from the horse’s mouth but considering you butchers are harder to get ahold of than Christ himself, I guess UA-cam WILL FUCKING HAVE TO DO

Amazing insight into African orthopedic arthroscopy
Taken together, I found the videos very informative and helpful.
What an informative and well-researched presentation! ❤
I am very proud of my scars. I wouldn’t want anything done!
I'm 33 and got a stinger injury trying to do a double-leg tackle in bjj class. still have slight numbness in my index finger 3 days later, went to the gym today to squat, benchpress and deadlift and I felt significant weakness on that side during benchpress and since going to the gym feel "jolts" in certain neck positions and a general feeling of weakness and discomfort on that side. Seeing a doctor in 2 days and hopefully getting a referral. I'll probably give up bjj.
HELP
I did plasma for my knees, I have a little roughness My weight is approximately 68 lbs. Do I need to walk lightly every day and do knee exercises? Is walking and exercises beneficial or harmful to the knee? Should I continue taking nutritional supplements after the injection? Please let me know, thank you
What about Cartilage Paste Graft with Microfracture for arthritis patients over 50 years old? There's a few doctors specializing in this.
I love the 6to8weeks podcast. I have a suggestion do a podcast with someone who had needed orthopedic care since early childhood
I love what Abhinav said about family, great priorities.
Such a great lecturer
I appreciate you are busy. I have Patellar Chondromalacia and there is also an intra-articular loose body, a small structure around four millimeters in size, which may be a detached fragment of the articular cartilage. The articular cartilage injury is graded as four, The ligaments and menisci appear normal, and I have a Patella Alta, which is a slight elevation of the kneecap that may or may not contribute to the altered biomechanics and erosion of the articular cartilage. The report also mentions minimal fluid within the joint space, which is not of much concern. I see online Dr, You are to be the best around when it comes to Chondromalacia so any advice how to best treat it will be much appreciated as I’m fit 45yrs old and I’ve just got a HA injection but don’t think it’s helped. Again i appreciate you may be too busy to reply. Colin Carrick
I have been freezing since day one my feet and hands stay freezing cannot get warm. Continual pain remaining on painkillers for a year now. Not getting any better I need help desperately. I have taught dance most of my life I'm 70 years old now and still want to teach but I can't even take off my own shirt since the surgery
My doctor was not a neurosurgeon what was supposed to be the best spinal surgeon in the south but he does not listen in terrible bedside Manner and doesn't offer me any help now
I am so sorry this happened to you.. I am 2 weeks post surgery and have C5 palsy. Right shoulder. Its devastating. I can't even pick my grand babies up or babysit them anymore. Absolutely devastated.. I will pray for you. Maybe God heal you completely. 💜
@@user-ym2lo4bi6chow are you doing now?
I have requested three neurosurgeons to give me a second opinion but have been turned down by all three. I need help desperately. Something is wrong but my surgeon does not help me it doesn't even listen
I have had level 6 posterior cervical laminectomy and fusion. Continually having problems one year after surgery. Left shoulder playing both hands drawing up muscle and my biceps freezing and can't open my arm. My surgeon did acdf which failed and then did pcdf. I have haloing at 2 screws but he says I'm healing and he does not listen to me. I can't even take my own shirt off
Static representations of a dynamic, articulated 3D construct devoid of physiologic data can only optimize within our limited view of this complex system. The real answers probably lie outside of the problem space.
shitty intro music nearly drove me away....left @ 2:59 ; just another hit piece....two "drs" asking a PULITZER PRIZE "journalist" for his opinion on a medical procedure , laughable........oh , it's UCSF , shoulda guessed..........................
What happened when one has damaged the PCL on both legs after a fall and what test is needed for treatment.
1100$ disgusting price
More Dr.Janghala on the podcast! Loved his insights and thoughts! Learned a ton 👍🏽👍🏽
I'm gonna have prp tomorrow on my both knee joints. For one it is cost around 40 usd (3000 indian rupees)
in pakistan it's 40000PKR
Do most neurosurgeons have patients that end up with C5P?

Sounds like a lot of B/S. Get to it!!
Thanks, guys.
I just listened to this and I am asking your opinion. I am 80 and I have a severe meniscus tear and moderate to severe arthritis. I also have severe arthritis throughout my entire body. Surgeon suggested a robotic procedure to clean up my knee. I am afraid it will last maybe 5 or so years and then they will need to do a knee replacement when I will be older. I am a female about 150 lbs. I am ( was) pretty active before I suddenly had something happen where I had severe pain where I couldn’t walk. I have had 2 cortisone injections . The first did almost nothing. The second gave me some relief but I rarely have a day pain free and come close to falling because my knee is unstable. Will the robotic surgery help that or should I go straight to the knee replacement or get get a second opinion? Looking forward to your opinion.
Just failed the Lachman test. This was very helpful thank you
Very informative. Thanks for excellent presentation , which benefits doctors and patients alike please continue with these.
Good information, thanks! And haha, I liked the Jan 6th reference.
Nonsense. $1200 a year for PRP. What is included in this? 1 injection? 6 injections? xray Motion study? ultrasound? a doctor straight out of med school or somebody with 20 years of prolotherapy experience. Doctors office in Kansas or NYC? These 1 size fits all approaches are plain dumb. Figures that some dweeb at a university would concoct this drivel.
I’m currently a candidate for a SC study. Trying to decide if having the BM aspirate is worth the benefit. 2 year study for knee osteoarthritis. I’m not ready for another TKA so I’m considering participating.
Thank you smart people!! Keep up the work, I’m 52 years old, ICU NP trying to avoid my second TKA and save my other knee. It’s so frustrating that there are so few options available. And to have something other then cortisone covered by my insurance😕. I’m looking at hopefully participating in a stem cell study, waiting to hear if I’m chosen. If I don’t get in, I’ll pay out of pocket for PRP. Thank you for what your working on. I’m fit, normal BMI , eat anti inflammatory diet. it’s a brutal disease. Hurry please.
Thank you. Very nice explanation
Is there anyone who has healed his his knee cartilage permanently with PRP? I'm young female with grade 3 chondromalacia and meniscal degeneration of grade to.. Even walking a few steps is impossible... Can I be ok permanently?
No 2 body’s are the same and with PRP this is very true. No 2 people will react the same way too this treatment. But know one has been harmed by it. You just have to try it,and if it helps great. You can do as often as needed!
PRP should cost $100 - $150 at most. It's a stupidly simple process that's become the victim of hyper-marketing as well as an opportunity to gouge patients for a procedure that does not benefit from insurance cost containment. Insurance companies will at some point begin to cover these procedures as more evidence accumulates that demonstrates the efficacy and the cost-to-benefit advantage over joint replacement, and you'll see the cost pushed back down to more reasonable levels when that happens.
In Thailand I pay $500 U.S. for PNP. Draw 22ml blood spin @ 3270rpm for 5 minutes and get 2- 5ml syringes PNP. That’s enough for both knees.
It's mind boggling that insurance would rather pay for a surgical implant procedure instead of prolotherapy with a better outcome at a fraction of the cost.
Informative video. Can i refer you to a chiropractic directory with over 1k members to publish your video? No charge
