Bunch of people liked how Miles was the one to stop Peter. Cant believe someone is actually complaining about that fight which makes this video pretty garbage and you just nitpicking at this point. Yes the game wasn't perfect but you complaining about that Miles and Peter fight seals it for me.

That hesitation from Peter when Harry was turning MJ into a symbiote would make sense if you acknowledge the actual story instead of a different one you had in your head....

The point abou FEAST is spot on. It was mentioned here and there but there's no real substance to it. At some point i feel that Peter has completely ignored FEAST,while simultaneously mentioning it's importance to him. In the first game,we played few missions inside the FEAST. And you can feel the connection between Peter,May and Li surrounding it. These three has been a central figure for FEAST yet in this game Peter done nothing for FEAST.

You’ve earned my sub fellow friend. I totally agree with you. For me, except the rushed and cut down final game, the worst part is to see Peter being weak ON PURPOSE. OG Spider-Man could never be that weak. We’ve seen what he dealt with in the past ten years like Sinister Six, Fisk and many disasters that out powered everyone in front of him (like lifting a f*ng crane) and you tell me he’s being owned by a damn fridge and on the other hand we see the young spidey and MJ dealing with the bad guys like it is nothing? No man, there must be a reason for this and we all know why this is happening….

It’s still a very good game, I didn’t have as memorable of a time as the first, but it was pretty good still but definitely not fully satisfied with how it was

$300,000,000 is way to much for a game like this and may have hurt future games

I feel like anti venom wasn’t explored at all. Last time he had a symbiote, he almost killed everyone he loved. He doesn’t even explore it when he gets it a second time. It’s barely explored or mentioned and feels like a quick way to give him back his abilities.

Ik it felt rushed but I still love this game

I think Peter being knocked out for a whole night made sense. Dude got chucked through walls, piping, and landed in wooden boxes. The only other game he got thrown through a wall was against Wilson Fisk and that only dented the piping. That’s a hell of a throw.

Spiderman 2 was my biggest disappointment in a while. It was basically guaranteed to be a banger with little effort. But somehow they decided to cop out and tried to bank on the name alone. It didn't work

Personally, the thing I hate most about not just this game but a lot of modern games and media in general, is the “toxic positivity.” Making every “good guy” (including the students and student gays (gag), deaf girl, music lady etc in the side missions,) a saint removes their humanity. Yeah yeah, Miles was angry at Li and almost let him die. That’s his only flaw, he never followed through, it had no negative consequences, and eventually he just let it go. Yeah yeah, Peter was being “corrupted,” but what did this really entail? He’s got more attitude and he was a tad more aggressive with foes that needed to be neutralized anyway? Big whoop (and the story still craps on him for this when all of his “evil” was arguably justified). Black Cat steals some Dr. Strange magic? I bet she’s up to some expensive mischief we’re gonna stop! Oh, she’s just a queer now and she’s going to save her girlfriend. Great. Not to mention MJ, who’s given NO flaws to speak of except for being an annoying nag (what’s new) when she has a symbiote forced onto her. We don’t see real inner character conflict, we’re not taken to any emotionally/morally dark places which a symbiote arc SHOULD include. The closest we get is Harry seemingly turning legit crooked, but no, he’s just confused and actually thinks he’s saving the world, but once he realizes it he’s not willingly on board with Venom anymore and wants Peter to stop him. And yeah, HARRY suffers for this, but not because of any change in his character. He started this franchise comatose but vicariously still “making a difference” through the research stations, he woke up and is still helping via more science stuff, while Venom he thinks he’s helping the world, and then he’s comatose again when he’s beat up. Back to square one, I guess. SM1 did it better, with Peter seemingly on the verge of killing Octavius or at least letting his anger out and beating him more, not doing so, and even though he chose the good he suffered for it when he lost May. Where’s the depth in any of this game?

they trying to push peter out and make miles the main spiderman thats why he has the better animations and more fluid swinging even tho petes been spiderman way longer. rushed story and said they wanna go with miles even tho pete is like 26 why would he stop being spiderman and his story w osborn is more connected than miles

I think you should have mentioned ultimate spider man show where harry is also venom for a little bit and in that show it made sense cause he was mad at spider man because he blamed him for Norman Turing into the green goblin

Honestly I think a big missed opportunity was venom killing kraven instead of healing him like Harry wanted to do with the world imagine if kraven got venomized and instead of the mj mission we got a boss fight with venom kraven. They would have been awesome

I’ve noticed for Peter especially that the animations for the swinging felt choppy and uncoordinated. E.g. he swings upside down every second swing instead of swinging forward like in the first game.
