I got one and it works perfectly for my 2750 pro! I did exactly what you did and it worked flawlessly. It was a pain to keep having to switch from the two different pedals. When Im sewing late at night and getting tired I would sometimes hit the wrong pedal and scare myself😂Thank you!

New Sub! I could see the need for a deeper bowl, since I use binding clips not needles to hold pieces together.

I don’t have this machine but have flat bed machines with split bar function. You’re right, the labeling on the bars isn’t very intuitive, I tell myself, it’s the needle that I want to “disable”. If I’m only using one needle I also remove the bobbin and cut the top thread just past the thread take up spring. I keep some scrap material next to my machine to test function and see my tensions, before sewing my project. It’s better than ripping stitches, because you see the problem on your product. Thanks

Have you considered adding a pair of threaded holes to mount binder and folder attachments designed for coverstitch machines? Granted a lot of those binder attachments are 1.5 fold (folded under on top but raw edge on the bottom where the looper thread covers it) but you can find single and double fold attachments that would be useful on a single needle lockstitch machine. The holes are usually about 2 inches forward of the needles so it should land well within the footprint of the table.

The third item on the shaft is meant to be a rotation stop. Usually when you use this knee lift mechanism with a flatbed machine, pressing on the knee lift too far will cause the whole machine to lift up out of the table, so you're meant to set the rotation stop to keep you from doing that. In the original configuration for the Juki 341, the rod with the spring on it, connected to the presser foot lift arm, that goes down into the body of the machine at the back has an eye on the lower end (inside the case), and a short length of chain would go from that, down through the table, and be hooked by a short rod that is fastened to the knee lift shaft. It's similar to the rod that would have been included in the 206RB kit, except with a hook on the end rather than a bent rod, though I suspect the bent rod could be made to work fine too. The extension on the foot lift arm that goes behind the machine, where the cable is attached, was only intended to be used for the pedal lift. It gives the mechanism a little bit more leverage and also places the connection point further back to better align with where the end of the pedal would be. That said, there's no harm in using it with the knee lift, and saves you drilling an extra hole in your table. Great work on doing this upgrade.

If you had to choose between this or a cylinder arm. Which would you choose? I already have a walking foot sewing machine and a straight stitch. I am trying to decide which one to get next. Ultimately I will end up with both one day. But that will take a little while. I would appreciate your input. Please and thanks.

You are a really smart gal! Fabricators and 3D printers, you can do just about anything on your own and that is so cool. I’m not a collector anymore but I haven’t gotten rid of any either lol. I have a few industrials, but I don’t have a machine like yours. Yet lol.
