I can't believe there's not one solid step by step break down of this solo anywhere on you tube.. I think it's the first solo I've ever looked for and not found a really good lesson for such a popular solo. Very strange I would have thought someone would have really broken down this solo by now

Thank you! You have really captured the essence and body of this solo. Trying to follow TAB on this is simply too confusing, dry and lifeless. The solo really isn't terribly difficult. Once we find that "sugar" via the rakes and percussion on top of the clear notes and a reckless bluesy feel is just what I needed. Again, Thank You!

It’s a cool solo great lesson but you have to play it at regular time after you teach a part It really helps to put the timing into context.

You should mention the guitar tuning that is different from the standard tuning.

I really liked the phrasing imitation of the vocal on the guitar and the way you executed it. Things like this are priceless because they remind the guitarist about the importance of the song and that guitar solos should (to some degree at least) borrow from the singer to enhance the song. Great lesson.
