Exploring Okatse Canyon from Kutaisi was a great adventure. Okatse is a large canyon in the Imereti Region of Georgia. Once you reach the canyon, you walk on the bridge until you are suspended over the canyon with an incredible view. It was definitely a great experience!

The Yerevan Cascade Complex is definitely my favorite place in Yerevan. Built during the Soviet era, the cascade now features an art center...but more importantly incredible views of the city. And on a clear day, you can see Mount Ararat in the distance!

Jermuk was once a popular Soviet resort town because of the rumored healing properties of the water. It is actually one of the most "soviet" cities I have ever been to. Around town, there are a few abandoned buildings so I decided to explore them.

Jermuk is a former Soviet spa town known for its water and also the famous Jermuk Waterfall. Also close by is the Lucky Arch, which looks like something out of Jurassic Park. Definitely a cool day trip from Yerevan!

Jermuk is a famous Soviet era resort town in Armenia. I decided to take a little trip there and the first thing I wanted to do was ride the Jermuk Ropeway. This little cable car takes you to the top of one of the local mountains (elevation: around 2,400 meters above sea level). After that, I decided to hike around a bit and take in the views. Armenia is a land of incredible natural beauty!
