Teach One Another - Romans 15:14
I myself am satisfied about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge and able to instruct one another. But on some points I have written to you very boldly by way of reminder, because of the grace given me by God to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:14-16 ESV
Paul says “able to instruct one another” for two reasons. First, the prophecies that he quoted just prior describe a priestly role of discipleship in which Israel instructs adoptees from the nations in the ways of YHWH. Second, the primary responsibility of a disciple is to become like his master, but the next is to make more disciples. As he has described elsewhere, this is one of the primary reasons we are instructed to gather together regularly as believers: to encourage and instruct each other.
Christianity has developed a "church culture" in which everyone expects one person to stand before the congregation and teach them everything. The rest of us are just supposed to sit in the pews and be "fed". This passage from Romans shows that this isn't what God intended. Certainly God has specially commissioned some people to be Teachers, but we are all supposed to be learning and becoming teachers of one another. Nobody has a monopoly on all knowledge. We all know some things better than the people around us, and we should be willing to teach when the need and opportunity arises.

Romans 15:1-3 and We Who Are Strong

We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. This is why so many people are converting to Catholic or Orthodox, not understanding that this prophecy was fulfilled in the year 70 has caused so many problems. Notice there's nothing about this in the book of Revelation. What does Revelation talk about? Beasts are nations/empires. Revelation 13 is about the return of a nation that ceased to exist prior to the 1st century but returns in the future. Everyone marvels at it's return. Who can make war against it? It shares the number of a man. What nation on this planet returned and is named after a man? Israel. There's only ONE symbol called out by name in the scriptures that God is no fan of, the star of Moloch, Kyiun, Remphan ( Amos 5: 26 Acts 7: 43). This is the SIX pointed star with SIX equilateral triangles & a SIX sided hexagon interior. Does that image represent any nation on earth today? That number should also draw your attention to the number of Adonikam's descendants that returned after the Babylonian exile. In addition to that, it should remind you that Israel, as a UNITED kingdom ceased to exist since the passing of Solomon. This is the first head of the beast, which appeared to have a mortal wound that was miraculously healed. It's also the 8th king. This is the great deception, & getting Protestants to support that nation is a way of taking you down. This is the only branch of Christianity that has no apostolic succession & anyone can start up a church & teach whatever they please. When the Pope turned down the request of Rothschild to endorse Zionism in 1904 he moved onto entrapping Protestants in the West by funding the Scolfield Reference Bible to introduce this heresy. That's why the majority of Christians around the world do not talk about a third temple or support the destruction of the Church in Palestine or the crimes against humanity that have been committed by the Zionists. They're still attacking Christians in Jerusalem & the West Bank & fake Christian outlets like CBN, TBN, Daystar & others cover it up! Galatians 3 & Hebrews 8 make it clear that the church established by Christ is Israel & there is only ONE covenant.

@AmericanTorah Matthew 24:15 gave the warning to those people there that the abomination of desolation was prophesied by Daniel and was to be fulfilled in their time. The concept of multiple fulfillments of the same particular prophecy doesn't work here. The end of the old covenant age was in view with Daniel's prophecy regarding the coming of the Anointed One. That doesn't allow for multiple fulfillments of Daniel's all encompassing prophecy. You might see Daniel's world being similar to our world now, but that doesn't allow for multiple fulfillments.

    • @AmericanTorah

I disagree, but I appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective. I don't believe Yeshua was saying the prophecy of Daniel was to be fulfilled in their lifetimes, nor that the concept of multiple fulfillments doesn't work in this instance. I don't believe in the concept of "the old covenant age", for that matter.

@AmericanTorah Matthew 12:32 gives a statement of Jesus about ' this age and the age to come. ' He says that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit would not be forgiven in either age. Jesus spoke this during what He called ' this age. ' The temple represented the Old Covenant . The New Covenant (which is found in what we call the Old Testament and the New Testament) is one where it comes through the Messiah and is forever and being built upon Him, the Apostles and Prophets . Jesus is the Chief Cornerstone (where generally laid out 2 walls meet at the foundation.) Note the temporal nature of the old covenant temple and the eternal nature of the new building.

According to Josephus (The Wars of the Jews, Book 6, chapter 6), the Romans entered the ruined Temple with their ensigns and made sacrifices to them. He doesn't specify what animals were sacrificed, but one of the most common rituals after a major victory was the suovetaurilia, which involved sacrificing a pig, a lamb, and a calf.

When it arrives, you won't have to be asking questions about it. We've enjoyed spiritual peace for so long that people underestimate the social traumas which Biblical warnings portend. People won't be leisurely posting videos, posing queries when these spiritual changes confront our species, hostilities that are orders of magnitude more potent than things long forgotten in the collective memory of civilizations. God doesn't traumatize his prophets with trivial warnings.

I don't. God said it wasn't food, and I believe Him. 😊 God also never changes. He doesn't say it's not food in the old testament, then it's food in the new testament and then give us this end time prophecy that says: “These people provoke Me continually to My face, sacrificing in gardens, burning incense on bricks, sitting among graves, spending the night in cave-tombs; eating swine’s flesh, and the broth of detestable things is in their pots, who say, ‘Keep to yourself, don’t come to me, for I am holier than you!’ These are smoke in My nostrils, a fire that burns all day. Behold, it is written before Me; I will not keep silence, but will repay, even repay into their laps,” (Isaiah 65:3-6) If you start from the beginning of the chapter, you find that Yehovah is taking about gentiles. @ I always thought this after I studied Judaism for a few years…there are hardly no Christian denominations that still subscribe to the law of Moses. The sabbath got moved to Sunday, pork was fine, etc. when I read the scripture I never take it to say that we should completely ignore all the Old Testament laws. Jesus never said don’t observe the sabbath anymore or just move it to Sunday if it pleases you. He also never said go roast a pig and chow down. Very difficult nowadays to find a church that truly follows scripture.

Okay, but the way it survives in our times is Biblically backwards, as it is the bride's family who pays for the wedding. It's so crazy to me that isn't the important part. How did we make a patriarchy where you both had to pay a woman's bride price or got paid a woman's dowry alternately, depending on where you lived, and what time period through history. That is just sloppy patriarchy world building right there. This had to be an important belief, right? Why were Europeans in the Middle Ages so ready to throw away the teachings of the Bible to get rid of girls?

This is absolutely true. I am more enlightened than your average Christian because I am not to call people to the faith but to do other things for the Lord. Let those who worship today worship, for our Lord is truth, but let those that do battle with more formidable things do battle. Let those that can withstand the taunts and temptations and unsavory things stand against those if the Lord wills it. We do not stand to judge others on this Earth, but to prepare ourselves for judgment of ourselves. Key in Romans 14: "To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand." All Christians are guilty of witchcraft in these days for they use these devices, but most will defend the Lord called them to be here. Yet I still message to reveal so that those the Lord wants to know will see and know. But what is key is, in the end, the sacred and the profane are divided because as our Lord said, all will bend the knee and give our own account, not that of others. There is something known as baring witness. For example, my eyes can bare witness to Satanists masquerading as Atheists with a funded agenda who also have those that masquerade as devote Christians funded by the same parties so they can play Straw Man argument to Devil's Advocate because everyone putting "content" inside this device is feeding the Beast system despite their intent - just look at the quarreling that takes place in comment sections of both. What all miss is there are now already "people" who are not real on these screens, not real at all, but all of our photos and conversations being aggregated and repurposed for this charade - the dangers of playing magic mirror all day - why I was told way back to not use my image in my efforts.

Many of the Jews did flee to Pella when the Roman army left their positions. Cestius Gallus, the Roman governor of Syria, marched on Jerusalem to suppress the rebellion. However, after surrounding the city and seemingly gaining the upper hand, Gallus inexplicably withdrew his forces in what appeared to be a strategic retreat. This sudden and unexpected withdrawal caused confusion and gave many Jews the chance to leave Jerusalem.

Early Christians, heeding Jesus’ warning in the Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24:15-20; Mark 13:14-18; Luke 21:20-24), interpreted the Roman withdrawal as a divine sign to flee. Jesus had warned His followers to leave when they saw Jerusalem surrounded by armies, referring to the "abomination of desolation" and imminent judgment. Many early Christians reportedly fled to Pella, a city in the Decapolis region, east of the Jordan River, escaping the carnage that followed when the Romans returned under General Titus in 70 AD.

It’s impossible to follow the mosaic law perfectly, and that’s why Jesus had to be the one to follow them. If any of ours TRY to keep the law, we then place ourselves back into bondage of the curse, and are trampling on his blood, and saying it defeated the purpose of his crucifixion. If we abide SOLELY in him, then he abides in us, and we are no longer under the law, since HE covered it All. Jesus IS our rest, brother. Joseph Drummond has videos in oct 2023, check his channel, he was in israel, the abomination was set up which killed over 350 young adults, and many taken as hostages. Videos also show young Israelites dancing around an idol, they where at a rave, a statue of buddah was set up, u can imagine Gods anger, and it was on the day of God's feasts, they where supposed to celebrate Yahs feasts instead celebrating other dieties. 😢

Aside from tradition saying so, what book has Moses actually written? How about Abraham how about isaac? How about jacob? How about esau? Did Adam and Eve write anything down? How about Cain and Abel? How about the books of noah? Just to top it off what one verse of the Bible did Jesus write himself? The answer to all of those is zero!

@mrsmith735 Aside from your assertion contrary to literary evidence and millenia of tradition, what evidence do you have that Moses did not write anything? As for the rest, it's easy to deny a claim that nobody is making, isn't it?

Dishonest "skeptics" will claim there is no evidence for the existence of Israelites before X date, there's no evidence of anything in the Bible being true, but actual historians and real archeology keep proving them wrong. They are liars. There are records of specific kings of Israel in Assyrian, Hittite, and Moabite inscriptions. Egyptian records speak of attacking Israel in the 13th century BC! They used to say Jericho was a myth...then archeologists found Jericho. They said the Hittites were a myth until archeologists found the Hittite EMPIRE. They said Hezekiah's tunnel was a myth until they found his tunnel. David was a myth until the 8th century Mesha Stele was discovered mentioning the "house of David". The pool of Siloam was a myth until archeologists found it. People who want to disbelieve will find any reason to deny what is right in front of their faces. "Claiming to be wise, they exposed themselves for fools."
