'spiritualized - come together' music video.
The soundman was shooting horse.
I don't believe I had ever heard this version of the song!
This song is HOT!!! Why am i just finding out about this band?
who killed sgt pepper?
Chill, he was joking
ur real funny
next tour they do stateside, i'll be in the front row of every east coast show throwing headie home grown nugs onto the stage. pierce is a fucking genius
??!! :S?
same here. this is different
love that slightly off key intro
Al que esta en esta onda le va gustar Sinclair (Glew) indie - rock Bs. As.
you surely have a good godfather. Does he talk about his music carreer?
How do you know
Ah?
@@AdlejandroP I was 2 when you wrote your comment so I didnt expect you to answer because 12 years have passed.. By the way this song is awesome <3
coool. do you make music?
its not called ripping off. its called influencing from someone you looked up to. but i do see where your coming from. if it wasn't for classical music it could be completely different. as well as the blues
This is the song what get me in to spiritualized and spacemen 3. love in first tune
If there was no "ripping off" of others in music, there would be no Rap music, or Rock music. There would probably be no Western music at all.
I'd have to disagree. While there is little harmonic change and the melodic and rhythmic motifs do repeat quite often, the dense layers create a texture of shifting timbres and the rising and falling dynamics establish an hypnotic wave of sound which carry me away. I suppose it's a matter of aesthetics, really. I find most "western art music" boring because the academic elitists have rendered it sterile and impotent.
When something gets bogged down in too much originality it ends up sounding like everything else. Everyone should know that the music with the more (and more interesting) influences is the best.
Um...kay? God, I hate youtube.
wow, we have a genius over here. you're the first one to notice that. it's called an interpolation.
I haven't made any yet. When I do, maybe it will. I like the song a lot, but from a musical perspective it's boring.
I don't think so:(
after listening to ladies and gentlemen i thought this band/man was good lol
They are good
do you know anything about this band?
its an homage, not a rip off. He doesnt need to rip anyone off, he's brilliant
This song is pretty plain...the very repeated riffs and chord progression, the vocals for the verses are just a modulation of two notes back and forth, and the chorus isn't much to talk about either. If it weren't for the other instrumentation, this would be extremely boring. The song is good, but anything more than that is overrating it.
Most classic rock riffs do, haha.
And I Know It's Going to Happen Someday is a rip off of David Bowie's Rock n Roll Suicide. That riff gets around.
lol the opening guitar riff's a rip-off of Morrissey's "I know It's Gonna Happen Someday". Forget 'spiritualized' more like plagiarised.
The Smiths and Morrissey copied tons of songs, it is just what we musicians do. Even classical composers did so! For example, Chopin's "Impromptu Fantasie" takes elements from Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata".
OH PLEASE STOP SAYING THINGS about ratings. You aren't talking about little johnny and his tracks. You're killing the joy :)
I understand what you mean. Jason does a 20 piece orchestra and he's just f'n amazing live... he strips it down he gets slammed for being too lo-fi on alot of "Amazing Grace" compared to "Let It Come Down". He ebbs and flows, but no one can deny that he J. Pierce has his own sound y'know? How's the new CD, Songs in A&E? (P.S. Didn't really care for this lo-fi short version of Come Together...like how you can hear more instruments, but I dig the wall of sound on LAGWAFIS. What about you?)
i agree. but i've yet to meet a fanatic of them.
I agree, but maybe the overraters aren't overrating at all? I mean, I just started listening to them a couple days ago and am blown away!
more than a nice song its my fave tune from spiritualized and one of my top 5 of all time spaceman u r a ledgend
woman comes out of the crowd and shoots him, plus a random woman at the back... they appear to have cut the gun...
lol i was in a convenience store in TO one time hours before the Spiritulized show (98?) and Jason comes in and buy some smokes. Funny shit how normal he is.
Meaningful...But hard to understand unless you put under scrutiny.
Fucking great song!
Escorted to his execution...feels familiar...and we are forever told about vigilantes...the 'people in charge' are the worst offenders...oh no big brother is watching me type this...so long brothers and sisters!
Spiritualized really get under your skin......admittedly it itches like heck...but tis an itch i like.....YAY for Spiritualized
perfect tempo and feel for a spiritualized video. everyone's hectic except for j.
Top notch vid from one of the few truly seminal bands of the 90's. Cheers for u/l.
Totally awesome :) I had never seen this video before
Forgot how much i love this song
