Just discovered your channel. Been through the job hunting saga myself a few times. Never easy, and made a lot harder if you have the added pressure of a mortgage and family to support but well worth celebrating when you start the new job, make new friends and face new and often exciting challenges. Good luck with the new job!
Yes it’s not been great Last week was awful in the main Walked 60km across the week as just needed to get out of the house

Enjoying your recordings of Alykanas . A good insight into the area. We are looking at Dannys for our family including a 3 year old. The food looks good at hotel but my main starter of the day is the full English . How much is it ? what were your top 3 restaurants with a proper plate of food as we have seen some that serve rather small portioned plates? Thanks again for your pleasant and informative banter . Pamela. I also like the odd Ham and Pineapple pitza too. ;-)
Hi Sean Thanks for tuning in and watching….means a lot. Cracking full English at Danny’s From memory there’s a smaller one about €5 and a larger one at €7 which was massive! Really decent lunchtime food too. I think some of the Tavernas have tried to go a bit upmarket hence the smaller more fancy looking plates of food. Our favourites were Vrisaki - Typically Greek and bang opposite Danny’s Rua Mat - On the main road and great pizza and massive gyros Roadhouse - This is an absolute gem. American style food….burgers, fried chicken, ribs etc. superb portions and great food. Bekeris was also great, just down the main road All 3 of these were no more than 10 mins walk away. Danny’s is great, pool is lovely and we’d definitely return

Where about May we ask ? We are really looking forward to our favourite go to airport reopening again up there Doncaster . 🙏🏼
We went in June at it was lovely. The pool was a godsend as it was really warm Yes we live in between Leeds and Wakefield! Donny was a great airport. Went from there 2 or 3 times
Also got a decent Corfu series too from August on here Trying to finish that off at the moment

North Bay Fisheries, where you enjoyed your fish 'n chips, isn't the one James (By the curb) goes with his family. He goes where we go, the North Beach fisheries at North Bay. Superb every time. Queensgate fisheries (across from the rugby club) is superb too.
Yeah we’ve been to North Beach in another vlog. Sat out at one of the tables. They were nice but pricy for the portion size!
@@gavlosmedia6323 If you try the Queensgate fisheries, amongst a parade of shops across from the rugby ground, you can order a large fish and chips for the same price as a regular portion at the North Beach fisheries.

We get some good chippy's down here but none as good as the north 😁 although as a Lancashire lad i have to say you need to go west for the best 😂😂. The other thing we dont get is meat and potatoe pies here 😱😭😭😭. We are making our way up to Wigan for the rugby mlnext easter good Friday and will be stocking up on the pies and tasting the fish n chips too lol

We used to go early Sept before Kenz started school and you always chance it however usually only maybe one day or a couple of nights of rain They’ve had it on and off for last 2 weeks!

Looked nice Gav,but I was not jealous because hear in Brisbane we have one of the best fish shops selling Haddock and Cod which can be washed down with a dandelion and burdock or a pint of Tetleys,Killkenys or Tennants lager in the small sit down area.I tell you we are short of nothing here

We have been lucky enough to find a town near us (although still about 40 miles away) where there are a couple little Greek care's and a Greek food truck where they service real Gyros.... No where else near us does it, so now watching this, i want to drive the 40 miles to eat some Gyros.... Have you got yourself a drone now?
Ha ha….i know the feeling I’ve had a mini 2 for a while although I don’t really like flying it! Just don’t feel like I should be flying it where people are about!
@@gavlosmedia6323yeah i felt like that at first too, but with the Mini 2 being a sub 249g drone, you have the right to fly in pretty much most places, as long as you are at a reasonable altitude you are allowed to fly it over people, it just takes time to get used to it. I watch a good channel called Geeksvana who are really good at explaining the rules and great knowledge, it can all sound so complicated but its not really.
Brilliant I’ll check it out Got it out in Corfu last year to film my mates bar and the bike place Woman came running out of the hotel and told me to put it away as I was breaking the rules!!
@@gavlosmedia6323 sadly there are a lot of people who don't know the rules, and just hate drones. There are a lot of rules to take in and know about, but you soon get your head around them.

The sand looks such a Orange color, there is something so beautiful about the Greek coastline.. So sorry you never got to go on the boat trip, but, there is aways next year lol.
