I’m not extremely well-versed on Grimes, but from what little I do know, this doesn’t sound like her usual stuff does it? I’d love to know how and what exactly each artist contributed to the track, how they collaborated and stuff like that. I’m a songwriter and I can usually hazard a confident guess at who did what on collab tracks, but it’s anyone’s guess on this one! If anyone has any info let me know!
thats an interesting thing to think about i never really thought about things like that, it might b a crazy thought but i think the voice we hear is the au version of grimes, it might just b the production but it feels like ai grimes to me, i have like no knowledge on anything of those technical bits tho so yeah. i wonder what working on a project w grimes would look like lol, for one both subfocus and grimes are music producers so like i would imagine them working together is immediately more intuitive and less forced

My kid is a super dedicated fan for many years. I personally do not gravitate towards Grime' style though I do appreciate the originality and vision of her music. However, I DO like her dip into Drum & Bass music. I'd like to hear more of this style from her, lol not that she is taking MY requests! Its a good track.
