Nop its my bike, just sarcasm 😅
DR 350 ? I don't recognise the round headlight !
@ DR200se Djebel, hard to see when half of it in bushes
He must have probably came in too fast from there and went in a bushes 😭 love it
LOL 😂
Rain + Car wash will smooth out the orange peel
Good video mate
Thanks 👍
Look at the paint on the drive 😮
It had few drops. White spirit helped to clean it off.
Real british work, how on earth does this country still exist😂😂😂
Looks good mate 👌
Why, there was a dry line next to the puddle? In northeastern Ohio I totaled my 22 CB500X last Sept on a dirt/gravel road riding through clay water puddles 3 to 6 inches deep. Came to one that had 3 inches of clay water on top, but also 25 inches of soft clay. Clay stopped the bike, keeping it upright, I flipped through the windscreen landing on my back. Air intake was below the level of the water, hydro locked the motor, totaled the bike. No cell service, walked 1/2 mile to a farm, the owner pulled the bike out with his dump truck. Be diligent of the hidden dangers lurking under puddles.
I have tried that dry path, not really visible from this angle, but my bike stuck on centre stand, so had mo option just to go through puddle. Also my friend went through first on his CRF300L. So i have seen how deep it is ;) sad to hear that your bike was totalled
That came out looking new enough. No crazy fumes where you dont need a mask? And I just look up coach paint? I know you showed the can but it didnt say enamal or acrylic, i dont know what I'm doing or details. These results though are all need for my cracking clear coat hood.
Well never looked at tin so dont know exactly what it was but they stink, cant be acrylic
Some clear coat applied the same way would be interesting....
Hi did you add any thinners or straight out the tin good video 👍
Straight out of thin. One thick layer
Don't try painting this colour outside during the uk summer. Flies can't resist it. Years ago whist working fo british coal I was given a painting job to do. I had to paint 4 inch pipes yellow as they were to be used for methane. It was summer and once the flies found us that was it. Luckily the painting wasn't for cosmetic purpose so no real harm done. A van paint job is another story.
Years ago I painted my EJ Holden panel van with Camouflage Green British Paint (house paint) with a brush. I put the car in the sun 25° C Australia. Put the paint on a bit thick. The heat made the paint smooth out to the point you had to get within 6 inches to see lite brush marks. I was very happy untill I parked it in the bush and when I returned I started to think someone had stollen my car untill I saw a reflection off one of the windows. 😂😂
😂
T@theaussienurseflipper.8113 That's a great story. Paint must have gone on pretty thick to ripple. I am glad you didn't drive at 100kph in reverse to get the ripples out.
Looks really good mate! I’m going to do something similar on my caravan.
Whats the black hose connected in the middle of the air filter box? Mine come lose but engine still run
Engine breather. Just poo it back on and you good
@@Motorbikewizi got one back to the air box filter but the middle one is don’t find, but engine still run
🔥
Funny as well as tragic 🤦♂️ love these early R1, but when they run on all 4😁
I love them to when they run :D
This is awesome. Trying to do this in my sprinter van. Were you able to get the memory function to work on the seat?
Nop, memory function is controlled by separate ecu.
@@Motorbikewiz damn, so it's basically impossible?
@@Sustainavore maybe is possible, but need to speak with some good car electrician
Awesome! Keep videos coming! Can’t wait to see how she turns out!
More coming out soon
Well done nice job
Thanks!
hi mate. just some basic questions i bought old van want to brighten it up a bit, but for health reasons want to make it as simple as possible really aint too fussed about the outcome. I'd really appreciate your help. 1. can i just do a simple sand using those sponge type sander or do i need electric sander 2. what grade of sandpaper 3. what type of paint 4. what type of roller?can i use a small one 5. how many coats. cheers!!
1 I have done all by hand 2 sponge I used is same as 240grit sanding paper 3 coach paint 4 short bristle roller 5 two coats
Hello friend, what kind of paints did you use? acrylic?
Coach paint from ebay
That looks to be a 99 tail
Could be, its non genuine cairings
I have a 99 and a 00 there totally different tails the 00 has a point for the rear seat the 98 n 99 have the square seat my 00 has the double tail bullets that are dope
Great job🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Thank you 🤗
Ghastly music always ruins a good video, why do it?
Music is same as color or smell, everyone is different. Some might like some don't. 😊
UA-camrs always seem to think they are DJs as well ..... Most of them ruin a good video this way , I've no idea what this bloke said as I watched the video in bits with the sound off ..... That's the only way to watch videos like this .
Good job that im not youtuber, just a guy who uploads videos once in while. Also never claimed to be dj and have to use some music on time lapse parts, otherwise it would be too boring. Appreciate your comment. Thanks ☺️
Hello this is fantastic, Youve inspired me to get these seats for our vivaro. Does the electronic seat memory position work? M1,2,3 and heated seat mode? Very cool thanks for sharing.
To power up motors is easy just needed power supply, but memory buttons and heated seat option is operated through they ecu. Maybe some very clever electrician would be able get them working. But that's out of my knowledge limit...
A black roof will be bad as will get very very hot in the summer sunlight
Were did you get paint from mate
Ebay
What was it doing?
Power loss and elm light on
How it looks after 2 years??
Sold now
Is the seat belt work fone and no airbag sign on dashboard?
*Means fine
I have used vivaro seat belt catch. And no airbag lights
It's very useful video. Thanks
Hi! super nice !! only red+ wire and negatve to connect ?
Yes. Simple as that
cute! 😊
Hello did you sand it only with a 600 sandpaper?
i have tried 600 grit but to much hustle so changed to green Scotchbrite pad.
Would like to know which roller and which make paint
All explained in video at the end.
good job
Nice van m8👍 I'm currently just starting the same project, Scotland is beautiful. Love from North wales namaste 🙏
good effort
great work buddy.
Great work bro I love these kind of mods.
What is it with people with their fridges and campervans lol?
@@Motorbikewiz Exactly lol people always think they are necessary but you rarely need one, plus they can be noisy at night when sleeping. A simple coolbox can be enough.
Overall an improvement at a distance, but the non smooth imperfections would drive me mad, I once was convinced by a painter a decorator to do this to an old car when I was young and more self conscious of what other people thought, did not like the effect as it looked cheap. But its a personal perspective thing.
Van looks boss great job 👍
How did you manage to get this done without rain half way through????
Great vid ~w'bouts did y'get y'hat from?
@@Motorbikewiz sorry i am from yorkshire we speak in a different vocabulary ~great video~where did you get you get your hat ?
