      @lelaleasl even people reading this comment can’t see it like we can-that and not everyone cares. They don’t understand that learning the style of art is a key to human history and knowing about that can really impact our current lives. Of course that’s a small percentage, most people see this has quite an incredible recognition and it’s not just by myself that this happened, I started to find out about it and looked at other resources and learned from them and now I’m trying to show what I have learned as well so that we can continue on the research together as a community

    Question you have the crystals ones but the others what type of rock are they. Was just curious if they were like a chert or something similar to like the more resent native Indians used.

      Nope, there’s not a lot of Churt, a few green pieces, but that’s it. More recent Native American artifacts are found on the top, and they are bird effigies too with the faces but really really deep is where these ones with the photo realistic portraits are. Why do you think some people can see it and some can’t? I have compared it to blowing a duck call, strangely enough. When learning to blow a duck call you have to build certain muscles in the tongue that you don’t have when you begin. After much practice and building those muscles it’s incredible the sounds you can make with some very basic materials. I think you have to strengthen certain “muscles” in your brain or maybe eyes to see these. Once you see them it’s unseeable! Curious on your take?

    • @FacesintheStone
      @FacesintheStone 2 дні тому

      I did not see it for several weeks, I was completely oblivious to it, even though it was right in front of my face and then whenever I started to see it, I thought that everyone else could see it as well… Oh, my gosh I was wrong. It’s pottery! 👍 it’s as clean as it can be! I have learned to use the word could instead of should. When you’re looking at someone else’s actions, you’re not exactly knowing what they are thinking or what they are trying to teach you. It’s important to give people grace because unless you’re some type of God, you are not born knowing everything. You could practice your spelling! You could go to the wilderness and explore nature. You could just sit on your cell phone all day.

  • @More2Historythantaught

    I’ve been speculating this same thing for years. Given they had enough time and resources they like modern man would have decorated many different items. For a comparison just look at tools modern man packs around . Look at the difference in phone cases for example. Now those folks that think we’ll that would t be left here for a couple of millennia. Okay then look at the different styles of figure heads found on the prowl of ships. First thought to have been on Roman ships and the Vikings but then thousand years later (give or take) popularized by American ship builders in the 18th and 19th centuries. Now not to focus on the object that stayed the same but instead look at the behavior. Humans have always found some way for their art to showcase their beliefs. You see those Roman and Vikings ships they showed mythical creatures thought to have kept them safe . Where as the American ship builders showcased more often than not a female figure. See two very different times with different art but behavior the same . Good job brother ! Another great video

    I'm in NNW wisconsin. I have many different stones with faces. I have a few that actually change with lighting and shadowing changes. I found that natural light is the best way to look at them. It also seems they used the corners and edges for depth or "3d" effect. I'm not an archeologist or an artist, but to me, it's as plain as the nose on my face..(pun intended). I'm sure whenever these tributes, effigies, artworks, or just their way of saying we were here for a time, were created there were artists with skill levels from bad to amazing. You know that picture where you hold it one way it's an old guy, the other way it's a young woman.i have a couple like that, only much more technical. Sorry for the essay..lol. I like your finds..take it easy and keep that head down.lol

    I have a question, and it’s not meant to be rude at all, I’ve just never heard of this art form before your videos. So how do you know it’s carved and not just naturally formed , and maybe pareidolia?

    • @FacesintheStone
      @FacesintheStone 4 дні тому

      No problem Rosee, what we find is that there’s a complicated multifaceted style of art that goes unrecognized until we study the stones for a few weeks. It’s completely invisible before we learn the language. before paper, and before books, people recorded their history with pictographs carved into stones. Pareidolia is a real thing and you are tested for it as a child to make sure that you’re OK! It’s a sign of intelligence and ancient people had it as well.. maybe try to think of why we have Pareidolia? Did it just crop out out of nowhere like our country did 300 years ago, or was it something that our ancestors had that gave us that just like every other trait that we have. We understand that the phenomenon was built through evolution, these stones are a key to the evolutionary story of human beings. What has happened here at the canal defies probability, and I completely understand not being able to see the art yet but understanding the evidence and seeing these giant Paleo style spearheads which come out from underneath these rock sculptures they have all been preserved in rich, red hardened, fired clay.. I do my best to try to provide the evidence, but there is a spiritual element that goes along with these that I cannot avoid. Thanks for your question.

      Thanks @kenmcclellan I appreciate you noticing the work. You’re exactly right about the black lights. Some images are only available with aid like that.
