Hi Delia! Thank you!! 🙏🏻 From the time I went to the GP for referral (14 July) until the day I got the approval from the surgeon (6 Oct), the whole process is about 3mths? Then, during my appt with the surgeon (6 Oct), I was told that 11 Nov is the earliest date available. 😊

@@diyanahhashim6940 that’s awesome! Can I ask where your getting it done ( state )? Are you scared ? So my insurance makes me do a program of 10 weeks ( I meet with my surgeon, dietitian, and lab work during that time ). I’m super nervous !! 😳

@@deliarios9946 I’m in Singapore! 😊 unfortunately most of our medical insurance here do not cover Bariatric surgery so I’ll have to fork out on my own but we do have Govt subsidies so I’ll probably end up with approx SGD2.6k bill post op as compared to those in US/AUS, the bill is about 20k and not all medical insurance will require them to go through few months of counselling, psychiatric assessment etc before getting approved! I’ve also seen some UA-camrs who went to Mexico to do it without the hassle & paid about 5k for it! Not sure if thats possible now though :/ Well for me, I’m nervous & scared honestly, its gonna be my first time going for surgery so i dont know how’s my pain tolerance like but I’m more excited than anything to start on a new journey!! Where are you from? Have you gotten a date yet?

@@diyanahhashim6940 hi no date yet . But I have seen lots of UA-cam videos and that’s how I came across your video . I got super excited to see that someone is just starting their journey like me ☺️ I have started taking the several vitamins that they tell us to take as part of the program. I have also see lots of people go to Mexico for the surgery . The amount is around 6,000 and highly recommend. I’m too scared to do that. Thankfully my insurance will cover my surgery. I’m from California 😁
