The Wu soa looks good, your pak sao needs work: it should follow the same direction as the wu sao does. Yet you do it from up to center
Very very good drills and thanks for sharing 😊
Ivan is such a great instructor; seeing him perform this is so cool. Do more video Tutorials Ivan!
Where is it? There is a Brazilian flag, but the master is speaking English.
Your videos are the most meaningful and informative about wing chun and it's techniques. You deserve more subscribers.
Nice to your work sir. Hello from kansas
Terrible.....and stupid
Not bad… he has a good way of teaching. Also I like his structure, which is not often seen in the wooing chun circus.
Hi സർ..
nice you put in some boxing attacks, that is the most common you can expect.
Why does it look you are keeping the arm tense after connecting. Why is the pak dropping so low on return? Too much motion for a fast enough chamber. Where exactly are the wrists or palm connecting ? Forward or side energy on pak?
@3:28
Nice dudes
Thank you very much i love wing chun and i love this style of teaching 🙏
Cool lesson
very good pedagogy ! this exercise will help me a lot, thanks
Can you do a Dan chi sau moving video with footwork please?

Hello sir : I am Arjun Kumar . from india (Bihar) I love to wing chun and I want to learn wing chun.but what I do here is no any wing chun institute
Hi. 1)Are you attempting a punch to the face or a hit to the arm? 2)How many flow drills does Wing Chun have, is there a standard number? 3)Are they all chi sao drills?
1) For most Wing Chun drills you are trying to hit the centerline. Not getting into too much detail about centerline but, draw an imaginary line going down the center of your body starting at the top of your head to the floor, that is your centerline. You aim towards the center line and chest and practice far enough where you do not hit your partner if you miss. For this particular drill most important is the structure of the arms to not collapse or to go too far out. This drill works on having a good structured bong sao. The partner is purposely feeding a hand that can be easily picked up by a bong and developing a particular situation. In reality, you would not be striking to meet a hand. You strike to hit and make contact with the person. If you make contact and the person doest put their hands up, there is no reason to try and force sticky hands or anything fancy, if a hand gets in the way you redirect, off-balance, make an angle, strike again and repeat. 2) Wing Chun usually does not have a set number of flow drills. Every instructor has their drills they like to practice. There are a few like this Lap Da drill that you will see almost everyone practice. There can be flow drills created for about every situation. So you feed it until the student is able to recognize it without thinking and then you can start adding more and more situations. 3) Mostly depends on the instructor. I teach a lot of entry drills before teaching chi sao. Most drills can be made into a chi sao drill and most chi sao drills can be made into an entry drill or some other type of drill. The idea is to get to a point where you recognize there is always an option and you can be continuous with your movements until when you need to stop. If you have done some type of grappling its very similar. When you recognize the person's position isn't correct and are open for a takedown or they leave their hand out for an armbar. Chi sao helps you develop recognizing striking opportunities up close and how to get around a guard. Chi Sao is probably the biggest part that differentiates Wing Chun from other arts and is why you see it a lot. A Lot of the other stuff you will find in Wing Chun you will see in other martial arts.
@@iwcphoenix5731 Thank you very much for your helpful answer and your time!
Great video.
Thanks👍🏽
hey friends, does anyone know if Sifu Julio is still teaching in 2021?
Sifu Julio, Is not publicly teaching right now. He is currently looking for a location. DM me your contact info and I can pass it on to him.
@@iwcphoenix5731that was awesome. 🙏💯
Very good.where is your school
We are Located in Phoenix Arizona
What you by my my Brother
Nice drill Ivan.
Thanks 👍
Excellent content, mates. I am a former IWC SiHing from Brazil and it's very nice to see brothers doing a great work. You guys are very good. Thanks for the video.
obrigado
Leaning back is the biggest mistake of modern Wing Chun. Edit: Structure seems very fragile/innfirm. If someone gives you good pressure with structure, like many schools in Hong Kong, there is no way for you to keep your angles. Other than that it looks solid. Definitely better than "Sifu" Sergio
Showwwww Br aqui apaixonado por wing chun
Awwwwwsoooommmmmme!!!!!
Why is that guy's stance wider than his shoulders?
It is wing Chun style. There is a reason in a form
Stance too wide..
@@p-medical3012 Like the other dude said it’s the tradition stance for the form. They don’t actually fight with that stance except for certain situations
no
lol
