If anyone calls you from "Fraud Protection" to get your credit cleaned up from hackers trying to use or using your cards. They are the scammers themselves.

The story is about a woman who got a fraudulent text message right after she left the bank after doing some transactions at the counter, it seems the scammer had an eye inside the bank. Some phone shopping apps do not allow people to log out, the only way to log out is to uninstall the app. There are quite a bit of fraudulent commercials on UA-cam too, some scammers present their traps as creator's content too.

Regarding to best practices, my boss asks me to do the JE for credit card transactions even the budget holders haven't approved them yet. Is this a best practices? Well the credit card expense reports are submitted to the budget holders for approval first. I was asked to do the JE even though the budget holders haven't approved them yet. I've been paying my monthly HOA dues through the HOA management company's online automatic payment (ACH debit). Recently they took money out of my bank account for a special assessment fee I did not agree upon. When I asked the HOA management company to refund me this special assessment fee, they refused. Can they do that?
