I have Made in India 1990 SSS pickup configuration red., it still has the inspection sticker on the back with inspectors initial and 4/90 and I took the neck off and it is stamped in red ,April 90.
Mine says made in India
In such a beautiful review, why those unwanted LOUD DRUMS with the guitar?
@@sharads6134 thanks for the feedback, I will work on my mixing skills.
I have the exact same model except its got black pickups
TOURNIQUETTETTTT
Cool you play The Pit by The Crucified, Chris. Their self-titled album, is one of my favorite Christian Metal/Crossover Thrash albums. You have more pedals than me! Haha! 🎸
@@HPTFan One of my favorite bands of all time
Awesome dude!
@@sunxvets thanks
🎸
One fast guitar
awesome song from awesome album
Killer song, killer band. The guitar looks cool, too.
Tourniquet!
Been a while since I heard this one.
One of my favorites!
Mine was around 600...got it for just under 500. Love it.
You’re welcome!
Thank you my brother!
I have this exact model. I can confirm that your guitar is all original. The Fender factory in India was shut down after only one year of production ('88-'89) due to virtually everything on the guitars being out of spec. Contrary to your suggestion that these models are good for swapping parts - they are not!. The pickups, toggle switch and pick guard are all so far out of spec that you would have to heavily modify the pick guard. Even that has one less screw and all in different locations. The headstock and body shape are also different from all other Strat models. That being said, the neck is great and is genuine Indian rosewood. Mine tunes up perfectly even with the cheap tuning pegs. I had to wax the single coils because they squealed so bad at high volume. Fender opened another plant in India around 2007 that lasted 4-5 years. These guitars are excellent, with Duncan Designed pickups, nice tuners and great finishes. Glad to see your post, thanks!
Wow, that is great information. I truly appreciate it!

Cats are Metal! 🤘🏾🐱
I have a 1500 dollar Strat that was my grandfather’s but want to pick up a little side guitar, it’s between this and the Jackson JS11. Also, what were you playing on the demo? It sounded beautiful and I’d love to add it to my playlist!
Sweet
That's good
What guitar is that, BC Bitch?
Cool skills, Chris. It reminds me of August Burns Red, For Today, and other good Metalcore bands. Happy New Year!
🤘🏾
You reviewed the GRX20Z not the GRX20. The GRX20 only has a 3 way switch not 5 way. The GRX20Z has a 5 way switch I know because I had a GRX20 and upgraded to the GRX20Z
Good riffin’! I’m glad you are doing well, Chris.
Hey I have a Black Squier II made in Korea in the same HSS configuration. Do you know what is the shape of yours in the video? It feels great and I’ve tried researching it but couldn’t find anything
I have one of these and yes Les Paul tones are it
This one is my baby it has that Les Paul sound of a strat let me tell you. And the feel if my GRX20w same color as this one. White. I paid $50 for it 2 yrs ago clean and in my stable
Not korean. Made in India. Not plywood body, solid wood made from Indian cedar. The Indian squier II strats are better than the korean strats and are the best bang for your buck. They are heavy like 70s fender strats.
What can you tell me about my guitar body wood etc. It’s has made in India on headstock and round yellow inspection sticker still on back of neck shows 4/90 and I took the neck off and it’s stamped in red April 90. Red with SSS pickup configuration.
I have this guitar and I wanna say this is way better than my old yamaha f310 guitar
Thanks so much! I've been trying to find a review for a V Xseries. Was wondering if it was worth getting one. Sounds like yes! Thanks
I have an N1, really like the neck and never had tuning issues. Good high gain pickups. Only problem I had was fretbuzz at the 15th-16th fret, but I think could just be fixed by a luthier
I have 2 of these. One had a slight back bow and I was able to loosen the truss rod. This added enough relief to eliminate the fret buzz.
i was looking to see what guitar i want and i came across this guitar and now i’m watching videos and i really want it now update: they didn’t have it in guitar center only online but i got the Squier Bullet Stratocaster Hardtail
Sold my PRS SE almost for 700 and buy this one for a 100. And it's better to play
I need to sell my Schecter SVSS Tele body Seafoam green Floyd 1000 and EMG 70's ! Its a great guitar but Im a Metal /Thrash player and it doesn't look right on me or on stage playing Slayer "Angel of Death" lol . Plus I love to buy cheaper guitar's and Mod them up ...
WHAT YEAR ITS THAT GUITAR?
No idea. I bought it used about 12 years ago.
Really dig my N1 ! Just made a quick review too ua-cam.com/video/iq48eKwLj2s/v-deo.html cheers 👍
does anyone know what model was "the cheap one" with floyd? ive seen one going for $300 and seems ideal for me (i like strat like guitars, but my Fenders is too traditional, thick body and heavy for my taste)
I believe those are the N2's. They are better pickup and a Floyd. The N4's have the addition of the Steven's cutaway.
I'm picking up a 2021 VX Floyd in black satin. Got a Dimebucker and a Bill Lawrence XL500N for the neck too. Can't wait.
I don't believe that humbucker is original. I bought mine from a Guitar Center in Berkeley in 1989, and all the pickups match.
Mine looks exactly the same except it has matching all black pickups
I’m sorry What amp are we hearing
Hello. I used an old Line 6 GearBox plugins for this recording.
I love this guitar! Bought it at our music store back in 2009 to substitute an old hot-rodded Ural (don't kick, that's Russia, now this Ural is restored and hangs on the wall in its initial state). My version had W621 and W623 pickups and the cutoff on both pickups, which made the clean sound close to Telecaster. This guitar is not very good for high-gain distortion, but has a pretty good clean sound and is good for not-highly overdriven solos. The body and the neck are really comfortable, the guitar is not heavy, and it's a pleasure to play it. This is the guitar I looked for many years, and I won't sell it.
This is actually a made in India squier 2. The India squier 2 guitars were not laminate bodies, they were made from maple.
You got it no way is my India made squire II in red one with a rosewood fretboard have a laminate body It’s definitely maple You pick it up youd feel it!!
Just got one today it has a dimebag pickup in the bridge it screams!
Nice the new pick guard sounds great
I just picked one up at Guitar Center for $275 in the used section. It's my daughter's first guitar. It seemed to be the best guitar for the price. I was under the impression that it retailed originally for around 800-1000. I guess I was wrong. Thanks for the review.
Easy cheesy
Beautiful.
Nice guitar.
