Quick video of my application of owatrol polytrol on my 1988 20’6” Rinkert. I washed them buffed with a high speed buffer using wizards Mystic Cut then left it for two day and washed it again. Once it was dry I apples the owatrol polytrol following the directions on the back of the can. So far I’m happy with it, but it has only been a day. Maybe I will post follow up video on how long it holds up.

This is pretty much how I found this bike. Just rebuild the engine, carbs, brakes and electrical. No fresh paint all just the way mother nature made it from setting in a field for 20 years.

Correct! When the stripes were put on they didn't have a radius in them, they had sharp corners and they should have had radius to be factory correct. Good catch, the car is long gone I think it went to New Jersey.

It depends on how much work you want to put into them. I bought this one cheap because it had title issues and I was willing to put in the time to get them fixed. You should be able to find a bike in this condition or better for between $1500 to $2500 dollars.
