Hi Faith, what an amazing DUNE collection you have such an awesome display, especially how you’ve army built the sardaukar warriors , I’ve literally just started collecting this line I have all the 6 main figures loose with accessories & The spice scout & Worm both mint in box & Feyd mint on card , but now I’ve seen your awesome display definitely need to add extra Sardaukar warriors, I love the 1984 original movie with all its weirdness & quirkyness I was 17 when it came out watched it at the cinemas back then in Australia 🇦🇺 & loved it & I’ve watched it many times since so impressed with the toy line for adult collection but what was ljn thinking back then for kids 😮😂, can’t believe the movie & toy line is 40 years old now 😮 ,never read the books but i think I will get them , watched the recent Dune movies really enjoyed them as well, Just found your channel I’ll definitely like & subscribe thx for sharing

You did an amazing job! I've always been hesitant to pick up vintage plush dolls, but I never thought to restore them like this. I've picked up old simpsons dolls and international dolls like Count Duckula in good shape but passed on others I liked cause they were damaged, but I'm rethinking my pick up. I only recently found out about this doll from a "creepy toys" video here on UA-cam, and I have found myself fascinated by the psychology of it. The reactions people give to it are so opposite-ends-of-the-spectrum. Either people say that she is adorable and they love the doll, or people say she is right out of a horror movie. Whether Hasbro successfully pulled it off or not, I believe their intent was to create the option of having a doll that is, more than anything, sad. Moreover, the most prominent aspect of her sadness in not so much the poverty, abandonment, and physical suffering, but that she is lonely, and that (as the product itself describes) she has love to give, but that so far it has not been accepted. Unrequited love may be the most tragic aspect of the human condition, as any lonely person would attest (and as I had times in my life when I was there, I can understand), and that this just may have been masterfully expressed in this doll. Thus, I can understand the appeal of Little Miss No Name to the hearts of those who can feel for the condition of the lonely, even if the way she was delivered did not appeal to all.
