if u built in countertop microwave, won't it overheat due to no ventilation ?
That's pretty much how every built in microwave is installed
Great job! I want to know what was exact paint color code and name information please. Also same color of wall and ceiling too? Please let me know. Thank you.
Dumb
This is the best video I’ve seen on this product
They sent you two of these or you payed for two
What happened? Did you changed your mind and got quartz?
Sure, I can do knobs but then I have an extra hole from the handle 😒
Love it❤
You went way too fast and I didn’t understand any of that you have to understand sometimes you’re talking to people that don’t know what you’re doing and they have never done it. If they have done it, they wouldn’t be watching these videos. You have to slow down and explain yourself better I didn’t understand if you were using hardwood floors, real hardwood floors, or you were using just some installation kit that they sold you which has to inch pieces to do with what I have. I have real hardwood floors 2 inch pieces whatever they are and is your kit riser just one piece I’m putting it together with my 2 inch pieces risers and step.
which was it 24 or 48?
Drawers
Your floor looks great - is it a floating floor or did you use glue anywhere? the edges? thank you!
How did she get the epoxy on the edges of the counter? Did she roll it on or let it flow over?
If you want to do all that work, you could’ve paint the doors.
If you want to do all that work, you could’ve paint the doors.
RIP Amazon rainforest
Why cold water? Why not hot water since whatever you gonna put on the stove is going to boil?
Mainly because you can use it for other things and also you won’t scald yourself when by accident or anything like that.
How did you build your range hood cover?
Nosing will come off
That's not refacing. That's refinishing or painting. Refacing his with laminate. You're giving people wrong information smh
Once again another douchebag who doesn't know what he's talking about. Refacing can be laminates or sanding and painting. It's the same thing genius. I do this for a living....
So that is about a $5,500 floor~! Nobody that has a install video actually bought their own material and I get it ~! Because the prices are NUTS
👍👍
Site doesn't prominently feature pricing, so I doubt I'm going to search for it.
Exactly it is about $5,500 for 400 sq feet based on another comparable brand and that is ridiculous~!
@@GoAskKit I still think I'm just going to have to design/build my own. These easy ones are terrible, and the good ones cost more than a real house.
Don't forget to seal it.... It will look new forever
How was it after parking g cars on it for 3 mounths
How many box's did u have to buy what was the total price for all boxes?
Where ya purchase the Suround??
Nothing is waterproof tight forever. It will eventually shift. In Canada with melting snow and ice mixed with salt and road tar will be recipe for disaster.
Great video……So you did this video 2 years ago…..what are your thoughts today? Would you do it again? Any major issues or annoyances?
Can you share a product link for the prebuilt drawers? I would love to do this, but I'm intimidated to build drawer boxes. I think it's still outside my skill level
Here's the link to the ones I used in the video! And if you use my code: "DIYGUY20" at checkout you can save 20% 👍 myfrontandcenter.com/product/drawer-boxes/

Wow, two drawer conversion from an ordinary cabinet. Lovely idea 💯
Thank you!
Perfect timing for this video. I'm considering the Anza.
Glad to hear it. Anza is a great color!
New countertop looks absolutely beautiful...but I must say your old countertop wasn't that bad! Most people upgrade from laminate.
Thank you! I don't disagree. We had laminate before I poured the concrete countertops and they were a huge upgrade, I just feel that the quartz really completes the space
Hi. Where did you buy the material(Epoxy Kit)
Hey, I got it from amazon! Here's my link amzn.to/3tzdkTZ
Hey, thank you so much.Unfortunately they do not ship to Australia. Best regards@@randomdiyguy
Hey. Looks great 👍 How much was material and installation?
What happened if your garage has 2 support columns in the middle of it? Can I still use those tiles?
Any thought to insulating the floor to help EVs and their batteries?
Great gob love it👍👍
Thank you!👊
Did you have enough of the epoxy resin from just the kit? It says it only covers 35 square feet so I was wondering if you bought extra resin for your counters.
I was thinking the same, and then I went and rewatched it and it said he got two kits
@@jessicahellar323 I really hope I don’t need two kits haha
Yep, sorry to say it, but I needed 2 full kits :/
How about a screened in porch????
these are ugly, trim kit reminds of those old flat panel TVs with the fat bezels......yuck.
Some like it, others don't. 👍
Make the stairs with stringers in the first place
The house had already been built for 20 years before I finished it... I was only 2 at the time
Love this ! Do you have a video on how you converted the microwave over the stove to the hood ?
Thank you! Unfortunately I don't have a UA-cam video on this. If you can overlook my cringy voice over, here's the link to my IG Reel where I showed building it 😅 instagram.com/reel/CjYIg5GN5Ss/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
What brand did you go with? Do you have a link to the one you used?
We went with the Delta Traditional Stainless steel pot filler. We originally bought a cheaper one from amazon but weren't happy with the quality. While the delta is significantly more expensive, we bought it open box which was almost half off. Very happy with it. Here's my link if your interested: amzn.to/4dwpRc9
I’m going to rough in my first waterstone pot filler tomorrow. Stupid expensive but I know I can charge a little more. 🤣
There is also a company comes in called revelare kitchens that reface kitchen cabinets low cost to do and worth it too much easier to do at probably the same cost lol I got a refacing free apt by Lisa in stroudsburg pa at homedepo store they wear black not orange and says installer on there apron very sweet girl super nice not tone of work but def ask for Lisa and see her or go online she’s nicest person I ever met and I love love love my new kitchen took only 5 days to do free quotes to as u know most places pay for that but here not at all free very low cost easy process too xo ❤❤❤
I don't recommend shark bites next time use regular PEX fittings. Also, no need to debur tbh. If your cut is straight you're good. Well done though! Just a plumbers advice
Thank you! This was earlier on in my DIY journey. Still somewhat learning when it comes to plumbing. Always appreciate positive support.
If it's in open space they're fine, and he followed all instructions, no way I'm putting a sharkbite on a drop ear tho.
@@randomdiyguyyou're doing it right it says on the package that de burning is important
It's been a couple years since this video was made. How are the tiles holding up? I just bought them for my garage. I like that they lay down nicely even though my floor isn't completely flat. There is a little bit a waviness to it. Still, they follow the contour well. I used a heat gun in a couple spots to slightly warm them and that seemed to work perfectly.
Don’t use shark bites. There only meant for temporary use.
