I crashed on pavement at about 85 mph on the freeway wearing a Tshirt, and to be honest... the road rash wasn't so bad, the ONE thing I was thankful for during my recovery was that I had leather gloves on. Even with gloves I couldn't use my hands for a week, but without them, I can't even imagine how much worse it would have been.

Why are you jerking the throttle? That does not make a very smooth ride,and makes it much harder to get up hills if your not constant with the throttle.

I have an 07. Prob not going to be popping wheelies but it does get up to 75/80 so you can ride it on the highway. Its an enduro its meant to be ridden on the road and trails, so it has its "street legal" limitations.

@zkzebra89 Your bang on the money restricted like nothin else.. Change the sprockets to give you that torque to get it on the back wheel. But if you got the money consider a yammy

I hear the KLX's are under powered? is this true because I'm about to buy an 07 thats practically brand new but im worried its going to give me difficulty popping wheelies in the street or its just not going to be powerful enough

Cheers. Sucks the camera doesn't capture how steep it is though. I doubt it would run badly it'll definitely run better than stock standard. Plus it actually makes it sound like a dirt bike should. To get the full potential out of it all you should get the carby jetted eventually though.

Cam advances?? like a big bore kit? No i haven't still a 250cc

have you tried the cam advances to gain power? ive got an older model but probably try it this weekend.
