The first time I saw Bruce at the Pony he played this. 1987. We paid our $4 to see Cats, walked into absolute pandemonium, the whole E Street Band was in the stage and they played for over 2 hours. I think Gloria was the third song. That’s when it sunk in, I was actually seeing Bruce live! First vacation with the love of my life.

wow a stage with volume and mic'd guitar amps! drums mixed nicely behind everything so its not the only thing you hear.. the good old days of live sound.

If you know many of Springsteens club hopping days back in the early 80s, this was the way it was mostly played.

It's too slow. Way too pedestrian. It lacks the original punch.
