Hello, my name is Viktorija. I have been painting as long as I can remember myself. I am sure that only practice makes perfect, so let's practice together. In my videos I will share with you my artwork creation using different techniques. Subscribe to get new ideas for creating your own masterpieces.
How to do Small Beautiful Mandalas
Sharing with you my practicing process.
Since my brush strokes are not perfect, I prefer to practice on paper. This also allows you to see how the brushes works with different paints and see whether the chosen colors combine.
I'll keep these little paper works for myself as templates. Found those patterns very nice for my practicing, so let's practice together.
All you need:
1) Black color paper
2) Ruler, compass and pencil (my choice was blue watercolor pencil)
3) Dotting tools
4) Liner brush size 1 and 5/0, Rigger brush size 1 (during this work I realized that for me there is no difference between a liner brush or rigger brush, so choose one that is convenient for you or that one you have available)
5) Acrylic paints (my choice at this work was DecoArt Americana True Blue, Turquoise, Snow white and mix of blue and white to get middle color)

In this video I continue to make my series of gift fridge magnets. I used 5 cm x 5 cm magnetic fridge canvas, dot art tools, acrylic paints and acrylic varnish for a glossy finish. I think they turned out to be very cute mini dot mandala paintings.

Simply beautiful, it's incredible how many are finding out they are actual artist using these techniques. I think it's wonderful.
This is really a very easy technique. I started using it in my paintings only 8 months ago, and I like that it turns out to be a lot of beautiful artworks.

Beautiful piece of art. However, I must ask why you hadn't share in description of measurements between each circle? It's easy to count the pie but not able to figure out the width of circles. Anyway it is beautiful but cant place a thumbs up, due to lack of information. Comments, like subscriptions are us suppoting people when they are sharing their, talents, knowledge and wisdom so that people watching and or following could fully benefit.
Thank you for your comment. Since I'm new to making videos I appreciate every advice. I'll try to give more information. And regarding the grid - in most works I do not measure the distance between the rings; it is approx 1 cm circle grid in every dot mandala artwork

I do lots of paintings but mandalas are very calm and therapeutic more than paintings. I find painting more of expression in one's emotions. Mandalas are more mindfulness. Thank you again. Thank you. I used Daler Rowney system3 acrylic paint - Rich gold color mixed with Liquitex professional pouring medium and DecoArt Americana acrylic paint - True Red color.
