Look into well diversified etf like hyld, qqcl, uscl, hdif, hdiv, htae, hhis, qqqy, smax. Don't just buy them just because sinabi ko. Pag aralan mo muna yang mga yan kung alin yung sa tingin mo yung swak sa risk tolerance mo. Tingnan mo yung historical performance nila like price action and dividend distribution chaka total return. Puro canadian etf yan.

Are we looking at the same charts?? Hahah. 100% YMAX and QQQY total return didn't come close to beating the S&P in anyway reinvesting divs or otherwise.

@@7unforgiven7 you are nit picking bro. ymax is just 1% behind s&p. qqqy made 11% total return since inception. yeah they are behind s&p but what about my other holdings? like i said im an income investor not a growth investor. I don't care if my capital stays the same or go down a little bit as long as i keep growing my income i don't mind. i want to enjoy my money now and not wait till 65 who knows if we're still alive by that time. better build that cash flowing asset as early as possible to enjoy it as early as possible.

@benjie.the.great266 I do not do covered calls. The only thing I tried with options on wealthsimple is buying call or put options.

I see. I used to buys calls but not recently as the market is not doing great. I do leaps and covered calls. I tried shorting RIV and earn a profit luckily but will not do it anymore. 😅

@benjie.the.great266 Yeah options is too risky you could lose a lot if you don't know what you are doing.

Also buying calls can be safe if you also sell puts before time decay. True it's limited profit but captures both worlds if your doing spreads. Just be mindful of taxes
