To put it in context, the Kraken on Hardest/Inferno difficulty can deflect any type of damage back to its target. The projectile is determined by the damage value. Any damage below 1000 will shoot in a random direction and anything above it (like the slugger, mr98 fang, etc) will shoot a perfect line to the target's last location. When the shield gets hit, it shoots back in 12.5% of the weapon base damage and 25% for rocket/missile (the projectile appears as orange orb).
