There is no esim activation option under my peplink incontrol device tools. How can I fix that. I purchased a peplin esim. I have a Balance 20X (HW 2) with a FlexModule Mini (EXM-MINI-1LTEA-R) in which I want to use that esim. Firmware is 8.5.9 build 5496

Can this be connected to a standard router?

Do you have to use the eSIM provided by Peplink, or can I use any eSIM I can buy online to which country I need it for?

I am getting a large catamaran sailboat later this year, meaning I will be sailing probably world wide, will be using a Starlink setup, but will also be needing Cellular connections, ESim will be my choice there (5G), need Wifi 6 as well. I will be having a Qnap Nas with a switch as well, which need to be added to the network. As I will be having a UA-cam channel as well so will be needing good reliable upload/download. Which Peplink router setup do you recommend for me. Also will it be possible to update the ESim details from a Smartphone without having to go into the Peplink GUI?

I'm interested in capturing capture data wirelessly from sensors in a remote area (solar power + cellular sim).. but not sure what technology is best for hobby use. For example, there's LoRA, Sigfox, Zigbee, (Open)Thread, Matter, Z-Wave, Bluetooth 5 Mesh.. but I remember reading that some are closed standards and seem to be on the decline, while others are an open protocol but there's less device support.. others are mostly in the U.S., others only for Europe.. etc Add in "Gateways" like Theengs or OpenMQTT and things get complicated fast!
