Thanks for this video Becca. I love seeing colours swatched because, as you pointed out, the colour charts online and the pen lids can be misleading. Like you, I often buy stuff and wonder why I chose a particular colour, or realise that I already have it! 😄 But you can never have too many art materials! I haven't had any problems with the Jackson's site crashing but I do find it a bit flaky since they changed it. Searches bring up the wrong results or links will be broken. It's just a lot less easy to navigate. Here's hoping they fix it! x

I just found you, what a lovely test and swatch showing the different mixes. I bought this set but I haven’t opened it yet, as I want to keep the retro labels! Beautiful mixes, perfect for landscape and sea. I looked at your website, I love the energy and expressions in your illustrations, a beautiful mix of colours in your work. I’ve just subd you. I also had difficulty with Jackson’s new website. I used to love browsing it and now I just find it frustrating, and not all their links work. Frequently clicking on an item will take you to a page where it isn’t or just an error page. Prices have increased across the board to help pay for the new website too. They should find a different web designer because this is bad. I did actually email them about the problems. They were very gracious about it.

Love a good art haul thanks Becca! I too have duplicated a few of my polycromos pencils without realising it but now I have spares which is great!😊 I’ve now started swatching and labelling every paint/marker/pencil I buy in my sketchbook and take it with me when I go to art stores. I double check what I buy against what I own and it’s working well. It took a while to swatch everything but very therapeutic 😇I’m looking forward to seeing more art haul videos although it does make me want to go out and buy them all! 🤣

Just wanted to say, i love your videos Becca!! So inspiring and creative. Ignore the negativity. Keep being you and if it helps im neuro divergent too and understand what you go through eith colour shades. Hey never a bad thing means you got more colour in ya life and ya never run out. Keep shining and keep telling stories through your art.

Hi Becca I’m new to your channel and really like all the colours you have chosen in the materials you have brought they all go together nicely for Autumn and beyond. I definitely like the gouache and the Faber castell pencils (watercolour ones) I have lots of Luminance and Derwent 💗

So relaxing to watch. Its made me keen to dig out my old watercolours and have a play 😊

And also if you didn't realize you had so many of the colors that you just bought now then clearly you're not just wasting money once you're wasting money twice because not only did not use it the first time or else you would know you own it but now you're just not going to use it the second time either because clearly you didn't like the color originally That's why you didn't know you owned it

Confused on the bit about you never knowing if you already own the marker or not until it arrives and you see the color that doesn't make sense very much. The markers are numbered just look and see do you have that marker😮

I'm distracted by the way you keep leaving your new Jackson's brush point down in your water jar. Difficult to focus on your exposition. Thanks.

Modern synthetics hold water very well. No need for the cruelty of the fur industry.

Not sure if you know, but the Ecoline pens can be refilled with Ecoline ink,so you don’t need to order a new yellow pen - just refill it

Jacksons don't seem to care their website is awful. I can't use firefox at all now, and have to use Chrome to search. Many emails to the uk to fix my UK acccount at least. Thank you for your video.

Tombow green 228 (Green Gray) is gorgeous, if you don’t have it. It’s very close to the Earth Green Albrecht Durer pencil you swatched.

eco-line brushes, I hyphenated it because if you sounded it out that way, it’s how it’s pronounced. Not that it really matters some people like to know though.

Same! I was trying to add some Luminance pencils to my order and it just ignored every one I added to cart. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ And they’ve billed my new address but shipped to our old address. 😢😢😢

I thought it was just me having issues with Jacksons! In the end I found it worked in Chrome but not Safari.

Have you tried the Rosemary and co brushes? If not, there free catalog is well worth a look.
