Totally would have been afraid of blood clots while flying. I can confirm if it happened in the U.S you would have paid at least like $50,000 😂. My second ever surgery was in the U.S in California playing soccer with a bunch of other adults at a conference for my rare disease., coincidentally So, thankfully there was a doctor that came with me and my friend who came with me from home, but he was at the conference. So he knew my disease. Which is a first in my life, still to this day.. i didn’t even stay the night, it was day surgery. Everything was close to $175,000. To give a little example of how ridiculous that is, my organ transplant in Canada would’ve been a little over $100,000. There’s no way putting my knee back together needed to be that much. And NO, you don’t leave your friend.. lol god, i dont think my body would even physically allow me to do such a thing

I really feel you on this topic! For me fomo gradually left the chat when I really took stock of where I was spending time doing unfulfilled things with people who I was not excited to be around. That meant really being honest with myself and assessing my own choices. This is a hard process and therapy really helps with that as it can be scary being honest with your raw truths. I hope you get to enjoy every bit of the Paris Olympics and please take a moment to honour your hard work that has brought you to this moment.

I am loving the idea of the vibe check. My vibe check right now is 50-50. I am doing OK in the sense of. I’m in a better place than I was a year ago. Today I’m alive. My son is healthy and taking care of the best that I can, and then my other 50 is that I’m not 100% taking care of myself physically. I am at the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life and I’m struggling a lot with food addiction and I am not prioritizing my health in the way that I should and I am struggling in that department.I take time for myself almost every night I do my skin care I have time to myself at night so I do give myself the grace to be alone with myself and my thoughts and take time for myself. But as for my physical health, I am not taking care of myself.
