Best way to remove the under cover?
we where told from a mechanic that these new cars like this need to be pressed when changing the break pads and rotors so it has to be specifically done 2k later lol
Thank you. I am a novice and this is great.
5.5 litres
Is it necessary to take the cap off the brake fluid reservoir on this vehicle
Nooo
how much oil?
The metal spring goes on the inside of the pads is that right ?
Same question. Video is not clear about that. It’s magic : pads assembled instantly
Do you have to bleed the brakes after replacing the pads?
No
great video but what is the metal plate on the brake pads for?
Where are the rest of clips? They are so important!
My brakes don't have the metal plate bit should I be worried?

Amazing! Wave the screwdriver under the mirror and it comes off!!
Amazing car!
This helps👌
Awesome! Thank you
awesome exactly what I'm looking for did you know the torque?
Very informative.
Nice build! Good quality video.
Thank you for sharing this info.
Mexico decals behind the door handles would annoy my head off !!!!
Ford virtually unbeatable in the late 1960s and early 1970s. One of Ford’s most memorable victory’s was in the 1970 London to Mexico World Cup Rally, where the Mk1 Ford Escort Mexico edition was created to celebrate their victories.
Fab thanks a lot, as fitting these at the weekend!! very clear, good quality video clip👍 ps. what is the 14mm lower caliper recommended bolt torque by Nissan too?, so I can finish off the job 🍻
Yes. Torque will be as per your car's manual. 😊 👍
@@jegagarage Hi thanks for reply 👍 - looked up on caliper assy and looks to be 17-22 ft.lbs on that lower bolt (does that seem right to you?) Cheers! 🍻🚘
Hi, Did you use a specific rewinding tool adapter to rewind the caliper? Cheers
Hello! on that video I used Am-tech but I think any rewinder tool can do as long as it can push back the brake piston. 😉
Can I confirm the wind back for the fronts is just a flat disk pushing back. On the rears its a 3 prong disk - hand a mare doing the rears because of the specific 3 prong and I'm yet to do the fronts but after looking at this the fronts don't have any recesses on the pistons
Brill m8 thank you
Welcome mate! hope it helps👍
It did mate alot thank you saved me a bomb rather than getting them done in a garage
