Hey quitejust watched your video on Monster Hunter and I have to say, it was really well done! I could tell you put a lot of time and effort into it. I especially appreciated the way you broke down the different strategies, it made it really easy to understand. As a fellow Monster Hunter fan, I can relate to your enthusiasm and passion for the game. I really enjoy watching your content and I think others would too. Keep up the great work, I'll be sure to check out more of your videos!
darn, I didn't realize my own personal audio didn't come through! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I'm gonna be honest, I enjoyed my time with Sunbreak a lot, if not more than Iceborne. Don't get me wrong Worldborne is one of my favorite games in general but I really did enjoy Sunbreak's content a lot more. Having modifiable movesets, unique weapon models, fun armor skills, and a pretty decent endgame that doesn't incentivize killing the same 3 monsters over and over helps a lot as well. I wanted a 5th gen pick up and play experience with some silly and arcadey aesthetics like GU and I got what I want. I do understand a lot of the negative points with the game and I agree with some of them (base rise story was dogshit, wyvern riding not really fun, wirefall, etc.) but in the end, I still had a ton of fun with the game. Bit of a controversial opinion, but I also enjoyed Rise's OST a lot more than World's; especially the one's in Sunbreak. I'd totally be alright if the MH team kept alternating with a grounded mainline entry and following it up with the fast paced action portable one. Would satisfy both sides of the fanbase. Especially those that enjoy both. :) No Gammoth though so it's gotta be a 0/10 for me.
Can't wait for the nonexistent Frontier playthrough while we wait for 6!
Note, this will probably be my last piece of edited content on this channel for a while. From now on, I'll be streaming my Let's Plays here on UA-cam (no streaming schedule yet, but I'll try to do it once or twice a week), so I can have more time to work on videos for my main channel. Guess you can look forward to that!
hey klu I think your videos are very cool. You always bring it over so easily. Are you going to make more videos in the future? You are pure inspiration. I'm looking forward to your next video. U will Improve and be A GOD Best wishes Share love Buddy love HOPE SUPPORT! Mihukat^^ Plans for the future? myself startet playing bow for content looks pretty good on monster hunter rise!
I don't think I'll make any more edited content for monster hunter, but I'm definitely going to stream it here on UA-cam, especially when Title Update 4 comes out! I might also do community hunting streams if I think there's an audience for it.
I've only ever played Freedom on PSP for a short while, is this one as grindy?
The short answer is no. It is _far_ less grindy than any of the previous games. The long answer is that it still isn't, but the end game of the DLC (Sunbreak) is still quite grindy. If you can find a way to really love the hunting process and not get discouraged or bored, then it won't matter if you aren't getting the materials you want, as it just means you get to hunt more. In addition, the game has changed a ton since then. I'd recommend watching some more gameplay to see for yourself if you think you'd like it. While the DNA of the games remains the same, many mechanics have been added, changed, and/or removed. There is significantly less focus on preparing for a hunt, for example. Monster Hunter Rise specifically also has a bigger focus on counter-based gameplay (much to the chagrin of some). My recommendation is actually to get Monster Hunter: World for PlayStation/Xbox/Steam. It came out in 2017 and still holds up well today. And don't play alone (or at least without someone to help track your progress and provide input). The tutorials are honestly terrible, but having a friend guide you through everything helps get over the initial hump of obtuseness. If you end up beating it and liked the game enough to want to play more, get the Iceborne DLC for that game. It's extremely worth it if this kind of gameplay is your thing. After that, you can move onto Rise and Sunbreak, which is currently available on Switch and Steam, but will soon come to Xbox (Game Pass) and PlayStation. If the only console you have is the Switch, you're kinda out of luck because you only have access to Rise and Sunbreak, but I still think they're fantastic games. They just don't have the same charm that World and Iceborne had that kept me playing for over 1.5k hours (I've clocked in maybe 600 hours in Rise/Sunbreak). It's still extremely worth it if you enjoy Monster Hunter or think you will. Just make sure you don't get the Sunbreak or Iceborne DLC unless you're sure you will enjoy it.
